Jim, I don't think you have the right church. We've had a man grow up in the alternative lifestyle share from the stage to a standing ovation and immediately following him the Sr. Pastor stood up and said ""I want this church to be the church for them"" to feel welcomed. McKinney Fellowship also has a huge bi-lingual ministry and a full Spanish service. This past weekend we held Fiesta Latina with over 500 people attending - that is not the result of a negative attitude toward Hispanics. Once again the Sr. Pastor stated ""I'm not concerned about their (Hispanics) residency status in the US - I'm only concerned with their status in heaven, we're here for ministry."" I seriously think you are thinking of another church.
