What a JOKE! I went to purchase a fire arm at Herb Bauer and their staff go out of their way to make you feel like an idiot! I am not an expert in guns but I would like to think I know a thing or two. I asked for a certain model of gun and was told it is not for sale in CA. Not a problem??? but when I asked why the sales rep laughed at me and said ""short answer....a bunch of commies in the state capitol"". I then asked for a comparable gun and he showed me one that was $500 more ($1000) than the original one I was inquiring about. I told him I was looking for a gun more around the $500 range, and he quickly did everything he could to get rid of me. So what did I do??? ""Short Answer"" left and went to ""The Range"" on Shaw behind Costco and purchased a S&W .38 bodyguard for $425. Don???t waste you time at Herb Bauer the guys at the range are twice as knowledgeable and 10 times more friendly. Will never step foot in Herb Bauer again!!!! Should have listened to what everyone told me about their customer service in the first place.
