Poor Communication with referring office, did not clearly understand referal form nor did they inquire with referring Dr. with their misunderstandings. I arrived early as requested due to the need for sedation - was re-examined briskly and not very thoroughly, and was told they did not have enough time for my procedure that they clearly knew could involve 2 teeth. All this after I took off a day of work, drove from Santa Rosa to Petaluma, arranged for family to drive me to and from the appt. due to sedation, only to be told they did not have time!!! The receptionist tells me my consult is free of charge and schedules me a new appt. then the same receptionist sees me in the hall waiting to be picked up and informs me that the little boy crying in the room next to me is the real reason they did not have time for my procedure!!! After informing my primary dentist about what happened - I ask to be referred to an Endo in Santa Rosa - when I call NBE back to tell them to shred my check and I am going somewhere else - then they tell me they are going to bill my insurance for the consult now!!! Now this affects my insurance max allowed and will end up coming out of my pocket anyway!!! Do not refer your paitents to this place and take the financial risk in going there - seems like they only care about making money, and could care less about the patients, or the patients time. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. PATIENT BEWARE. :(
