The salon staff is great and creates an excellent atmosphere. I went there for a free consultation with the Vizio machine but the computers were down so it didn't work. The doctor did the consultation by filling out a questionnaire and I told her that I wanted to get some help with the broken capillaries and the brown spots on my face. She recommended getting the Melange mask (which didn't really help with either one especially the capillaries) she said it was very good for a great overall appearance and skin lightening treatment for the face. She told me I could get the treatments for what I really wanted after the mask. I have never had a peel before and I had no idea what to expect. With this mask you get a kit of moisturizer, sun block, the melange 2 cream which makes your face peel and you only put it on at night, You have t keep the mask on for about 8 - 10 hours and then wash it off and follow the directions they give you. My face became so red, sore, itchy, and was peeling like I had a really bad sunburn constantly. The melange 2 is what makes your face peel and you need to use it every night for a while and then start using it every other night. I stopped in the spa because I could not stand how uncomfortable it was for me shortly after the treatment was done. The Aesthetician who applied it, told me to stop using the #2 cream until my face became less inflamed. The Aesthetician also recommended using Aquaphor and Cortizone because I had already used most of the moisturizer. I asked her how long this process was going to take and she said about a month, which I was not happy about at all because I was not told it was going to take that long. I had just moved into the area and was going to interviews and i was trying to make my face as decent as possible, but it still looked like an oil spill from using the Aquaphor. Also, the sun block in the kit stopped working. i would press and press and nothing came out so they mentioned I buy another type and I was not happy about spending more money due to the fact that I had both the mask and botox done the same day and walked out paying over $1000.00. Maybe my face was to sensitive for the treatment and they did try to make my skin feel comfortable, but the reason i was really upset is because I wanted to have them use the Vizio machine on me and then they could of analyzed my face much more closely and made better decisions for me like they advertise about getting this done in the free consultation. They should of told me to come back when the machine was working instead of doing the questionnaire and that is why I feel I got screwed. Maybe I had SUCKER written across my forehead and I fell they took total advantage of it. I will not return.
