Review content:
I have been active all my life. Due to a chronic injury, I was not able to be as healthy as I wanted to be. When I started going to Joel, I would talk to him about my frustration and long time struggle with my injury. I had already tried physical therapy and surgery and as a Clinical Exercise Specialist and Personal Trainer, I thought I would have to hang up my running shoes and throw in the towel. Joel did some research to find out what he could do to help my situation. After a few sessions, my legs started to feel better. I was still not able to run like I used to without pain, but Joel did not give up on me. After a few more sessions, the pain was starting to lessen and I was able to go longer and stronger. Due to my type of injury, I will never be 100%, but thanks to Joel, I am now back to running and being active. I have always wanted to try a triathlon; I now have finished my first one and am training for two more this year. After working with Joel, I have noticed that he really cares about his clients. I have since moved out of state, but I still keep in touch with him. I plan on setting an hour aside for one of his famous, relaxing massages next time I am back in town.
