Review content:
I will start by saying that the cut I received was well done (blended, balanced, etc.), just way too short. The stylist was friendly, attentive, and yes, new talent. So, I understand that you gamble in a situation like this. But frankly, I received a similar cut from one of the more experienced stylist a few months earlier. This is a problem I haven't had at their facility at the Oak Park Mall. Maybe it's that they don't have many men come into this salon? Additionally, I pay extra to go to a salon to receive extra attention, that is rather than a barber. I particularly appreciate the service that I receive, without prompting, at the mall such as: - a question as to whether or not I'd like to have something to drink (Didn't happen either time) - complementary de-stress massage (Received this time) - facial and hot towel (didn't receive the first time, had to ask the second time) I don't know if it's a disconnect in training as to how to treat a male client at this particular salon or what.
