hotel is VERY NICE!!! new looking and clean. desk manager and ALL staff very helpful. room was a king nice size with vanity, coffee maker, free in room coffee, microwave, small refridgerator. the free wireless internet was just great! nice furnishings, not all at outdated. very nice cushioned chair with very clean fabric. room was super clean. only problems were we couldnt figure out the wifi but manaement came to fix it. we thought the remote was broke on the tv but you needed a code then it worked fine. tv nice with loads of cable channels. pool area very good size in excellent condition and clear, clean water but it was too cold outside to use it. bathroom had huge vanity area with full length mirror. the towels were a good size and very plush. the area with the tub and toilet was quite small but VERY clean. nice tile in bathroom area. had a wall mount blow dryer that worked great. the water stayed hot long enough for my husband then me to shower. carpet was nice and was clean. someone had set and iron on a spot by the bed and there was a melting spot, but not hotels fault. NO BUGS or dirt here. we just loved the area. just minutes from downtown but way lower price than the bigger hotels. free local calls. the bed was a king size and very comfortable. pillows nice too but i still brought my own. there was plenty of shampoo, soap, toilet paper, tissues and extra coffee. huge standing closet that was nicer than most hotels. nice view out the window of demonbruen street. it is the next street over from broadway. the ryman and honky tonks are on broadway and fifth. could see street but room wasnt at all noisy. looked like clean fresh paint to me. way better than advertised. we will stay at comfort inns again. several restuarants right across street gas station/carry out 2 blocks away. cab rides to downtown only $6-$10. Maids kept room cleaned. Breakfast was free but im not into making my own waffles. had juice and bagels etc. hotels i was going to stay out were actually farther away from the action than this one. nice location, NOT a bad area. booked this on hotel website no need to search for the deal!
