Absolutely the worst business ever! For those of you who think I am basing my opinion on a one time experience....I'm not. I've taken several items over the last three years to Christine's to get altered, and the last times was the final straw. On one occasion, I took both my Blues and Alpha blouse to Christines. The Alpha blouse needed to be taken in and cleaned and pressed, the Blues blouse needed new chevrons and cleaning and pressing. When I went to pick up my uniforms on the day that she said it would be done, neither uniform had been started. She stated that she had been really backed up due to not having any experienced help, and promised me that the uniforms would be done the next day. The next day, my wife went to go pick up the uniforms and again, they still had not even been started. After the third trip, I went to go pick up the uniforms and to my suprise this time they were actually done only a week after the first deadline that was given to me. When I gave her my receipt, she tried to charge me for putting new chevrons on both uniforms. At this point after making numerous trips, I wasn't about to allow her to charge me for services not performed. I had to argue with her for nearly 25 minutes, and she got rude and finally charged me the correct price. The next time was on a Saturday, I brought my Blues coat in to have it taken in around the chest. The guy at the counter said it would be ready on Wednesday. Not needing it until the next week, I showed up on Friday to pick up my coat, and suprise suprise after a while of searching because her organization skills suck, the work had not even been started. I showed her my receipt and said you told me Wednesday. She said that she had just returned back to work, and hadn't had a chance to get to it yet, and told me it would be ready the next day (Saturday). Not believing that it would actually be done on Saturday, I waited until Tuesday to give her a couple extra days to work on it. Tuesday evening 30 minutes before she closed, I showed up thinking that there couldn't be anyway that it wasn't finished. Again, after a while of searching, THE WORK HAD STILL NOT BEEN STARTED. I expressed my irritation about wasting trips and the importance of needing this uniform for an event that my unit was having, and she gave me the same excuse about just getting back to work, and not feeling well, blah blah blah. That night, I sat there for almost 45 minutes while she completed the work, and pressed it for free (big freaking deal). She could have at least taken 10% off for wasting my time and trying my patience, but instead handed me my coat without looking at me, charged me full price (minus the pressing cost), and walked back in back. Out of several times of using her services, I can not honestly say that I have ever been completely satisfied especially for the money she charges. She barely meets her deadlines, shes rude, she over charges, and her organization of her shop and her customers expensive uniform items is seriously lacking. I will never use her service again, and I will highly encourage my Marines to do the same. If I was running a business, I would take a serious look at my short falls and try to improve by first hiring some help other than the shop full of highschool age kids she has working there. Christine, seriously....pull your head out of your A** and get it together, you've lost me as a customer, and I'm sure more are soon to follow
