It's been a month or three, I admit, since I was last at Kopp's.. but nevertheless, the overall environment and the food stick in my mind.. the food most of all. Unlike the more common chains, they NEVER pre-create ANY of their food. No burgers sitting pre-wrapped under a heat lamp. Everything they sell is fresh. Is it ever good, too. Granted there's a little bit of a wait, and the place is often crowded, but those can be indicators of good things, too. A must-try if you're in the market for a genuinely good hamburger.
