The saturday market is so wonderful. Yes it is a bit of a hippie festival, but it is so much fun. They have an insane amount of yummy places to eat, and lots of little vendor booths to buy all sorts of odds and ends from. T shirts stickers, lawn trinkets, baby clothing you name it they have it. There are all sorts of sidewalk entertainers from majic, to music and a living statue. My sons favorite are the guys who make the twisty balloon animals. Parking is difficult in the area as well as expensive so we always take the max transit down. The saturday market is also open on sundays too and right next to waterfront park.
