Zion Furniture & Upholstery

So i had some furniture recently done at this shop only about a year ago. I can truly say the cheap price is not worth it anyone. I was promised that the foam was going to last i had let them know our family uses the chairs often and that the foam needed to be very long lasting. So i took the chairs in and the minute i had seen the shop i should have known better the way it looked that the price was too good to be true. i just like anyone else would do, said this is crazy, these people are a lot cheaper so ill use them cause i don't necessarily have the money right now to pay out high money. this is probably my only chance to get this done. i was very excited to get my chairs done finally And they looked ok when i had picked them up and yes the day that i was told was promised (that's why they get 1 star). so about 3 months after i bring the chairs home i had noticed they almost seemed a lot flatter like the foam that used to be in them. so i was thinking to myself no its just me . well it wasn't. About 5 months after i had picked up the furniture i told myself that i was going to save up money ONCE AGAIN to get them done because they ended up like they where before. so i saved up for almost 3 months doing extra side work to get the money to get it done some where else. The price of the shop i had went to was about 40 % more in price. but i had asked the guy there to please show me the foam he uses and i need to see the foam Zions used. He said no problem. he had gotten a chair done by zions and had someone take it in for him. he was curious of the very low price. and soon to be hold he found out why. CHEAP !!!! So the guy at the shop i went to showed me the two different kinds his and Zions and right off the bat by squeezing them i had already felt better for paying a lot more to get it done right. It just dosent make since to me i wish i would have listened to my gut. it is WRONG in every way to mess with someones money like Zions did. but i can truly say i learned my lesson and thats CHEAP IS NOT ALWAYS BETTER. and in my case i paid for it cause not only did i have to pay zions for cheap work but i had to waste my time to get them done again right. we have been using them for close to 5 months and they feel the same as they did when i picked them up. So the message to everyone is if you find someone that might charge a little more you should defiantly follow your gut. i am very disappointed in Zions and the new shop i went to gained a customer for life. Zions LOST a customer for life. I hope this helps everyone who reads this. i am sharing this with others so others don't have to go threw what i did. thank you more

I would question whether the individual who gave the prior review has had any work done at Zions. We have had several pieces done including two recliners. One recliner has distinct, bold & obvious pattern. The placement of the art noveau fabric by Zions craftsmen was incredible. The smaller patterns within the fabric (leaves) were perfectly matched on the rolled arms. On two other pieces, the fabric is a large and bold stripe. Again, this large bold stripe was placed on a a loveseat and sofa with rolled arms and back and it is absolutely totally well crafted. We are able to purchase our own fabric and bring it to them; thus not limited by what their shop offers. They are fast but professional. We have been using Zions for years! more

This is an extremely unreliable and unprofessional shop. I cannot possibly recommend this company to anyone. And i had the opportunity to see the shop in person and was appalled at how disorganized and dirty it was. Certainly not a place you would want your fine furnishings to be handled. more
