I've been to a lot of relaxing spas, none of which were as good as this one. Voda Spa has the whole package. They have a big swimming pool, a jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, a bar, a restaurant, masseuse, and much more! I come here at least once a month. more

AMAZING Spa Experience!!! 1/17/2011

My wife and I visited Voda Spa this past weekend while visiting from Portland, OR for her birthday. It had been recommended to us by a friend who lives in LA. I have not spent much time in spas, and wasn't really sure what to expect. Fortunately, I was put at ease immediately. After checking in, staff showed us to our lockers and gave us the low-down. We spent some time in the common pool/hot tub area soaking and making forays into the various steam and dry sauna rooms. There was even a separate TV room for keeping an eye on the football score - a much-appreciated touch. The atmosphere was very casual and relaxed. My wife and I enjoyed the co-ed nature so that we could be together and talk while we soaked. HOWEVER, the most amazing part of the experience was the ""Venik and Platza."" This is the ""massage"" performed in a super-hot sauna where you are vigorously massaged (I had imagined getting whipped, that's really not what it is) by branches of various types. You then plunge into a cold pool to finish it off. Relaxing in the warm pool after, the feeling is amazing. The staff came out after and explained the science behind the process - fascinating. Despite the fact that my wife and I were both pretty exhausted going in, we emerged completely re-vitalized. A nice shot of vodka in the bar afterwards (including more TVs with the game on) was just the perfect thing to finish it all off. The entire staff - from the masseuse to the bar tender - were all impeccably professional and friendly. An amazing experience and the highlight of our trip to LA. Highly recommended. more

Best Spa in L.A. 1/16/2011

Voda Spa is an amazing experience. My wife and I usually don't do spas much these days, now that we are parents. But, when we need to feel re-energized from working too much or just dealing daily life stresses....we go to Voda Spa. We love to get the ""Platza"" because it's unique, but especially because we get to hang out with eachother, and my wife loves the poolside mud mask too. more

Like walking into heaven... 12/20/2010

I LOVE this place! They have a variety of awesome amenities, including saunas, pool, hot tub, sun deck, etc. that you get free access to with any treatment. They have a restaurant and bar if you want to relax and grab a bite/drink before or after your appointment. And they're open late every night, so you never feel rushed! Every treatment I have ever gotten here has been pure bliss- the body scrubs are some of my favorites. The staff is always very friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and good at what they do. Price-wise, it's not cheap but it's not unreasonable either. You definitely get your money's worth! They also have really good daily and holiday specials that are worth looking into...sometimes you can get 2 treatments for the price of 1. All in all, this is a perfect place to relax and get pampered. You will be treated like a king or queen! more

Wanna get athletes foot? Come to Voda 11/9/2010

This place is terrible. They don't clean much, and it is like a revolving door for the therapists. It is owned by people affiliated with criminals and has been sited for prostitution. Not to mention there was a guy there I saw with the worst case of athletes foot I ever saw, and he was wandering around without his slippers. Eeeeeeeeecccccckkk. It used to be a crematorium supposedly and gives me the creeps. Word is among the therapists is to stay away. Run the other direction. I get the heeby jeebies just driving past. more

Martinis + Manis + Movies! 7/22/2010

Imagine a place where you can drink unlimited martinis, get a mani, AND watch a movie at the same time. All this is possible at Voda Spa on their martinis, manis, and movies night, which they host every Wednesday. It's a great a way to celebrate a birthday with friends or just have fun after work on a weeknight. The atmosphere is sleek and spacious, yet very cozy. It's not as Zen-like as some other day spas, but it's good for groups. In fact, this place is more of a ""night"" spa than a ""day"" spa because it seems to be more fun at night. In addition to martinis, you can also get great spa food. I especially liked their grilled tequila chicken breast panini sandwich. As for the mani, I got my nails done by Jamie, who was very friendly and did an impeccable job. Everyone else at the spa was friendly also. I plan on going back for more martinis, manis, and movies at Voda. Pros: Good food and drinks, good for groups more

Great Spa but probably once! 12/22/2009

I went to the spa the other night and it was a great facial I had, but I think I would not go again.I had the Enzyme Custom Facial and it was very interesting. The esthetician was very very informative about my skin and gave me advice on how I can improve. There was this great tightening mask that feels like a natural facelift. The steam rooms are super hot, but I knew it was like a russian spa. And if you have been to a russian spa then you would know that the steam rooms are super hot, which is something I don't prefer. There is a heated pool so that was fun. But the facial cost is not worth it, even if the facility is nice and clean. more

comfortable!! 9/22/2009

I felt very comfortable relaxed and stress free. I think that if you like great drinks and service you should visit Voda Spa more than once more

An Amazing Spa Experience 4/24/2009

I had the best time here. My girlfriends threw the first part of my bachelorette party here a few weeks ago. What an amazing place. They couldn't have picked a better venue. The spa is very modern and contemporary with a European feel. It's not crowded and not commercial like other spas can be. We started off with a spa lunch and martinis in their cafe. The staff/waitress was very pleasant. The owner made himself known to us and he was so kind. A very friendly man who welcomed us. My manicure was amazing as well as my 50 minute relaxation massage. I've had both treatments at many places, but this was just perfect. My french mani was very carefully done, and the massage pressure was perfect. We all got a tour of the spa and it is unlike any spa in LA. The steam rooms and saunas each have a different name and have a different temperature ranging from the mid 200 degrees to the mid 100 degrees. I love that the pools (hot tub, pool and ice bath) are all co-ed so it's a perfect place for couples to enjoy. I had a wonderful experience from entering through the doors to the moment we left. Thank you for an amazing experience. I will definitely be back!"" Pros: Best all around spa in LA Cons: none! more

FANTASTIC SPA 4/8/2009

My first time at Voda Spa was this weekend. I had an amazing time. Had a delicious lunch in the lounge and fantastic drinks in the bar. My massage and body scrub by Alex was fantastic....I can hardly wait for another massage with her. The facial is amazing and after your skin is so radiant. I can see myself going once a month for a facial at Voda Spa. The Platza is so unique and after the treatment you feel so invigorated. We were all treated so well by all the staff. I cannot say enough good things about my experience. When you walk into the Spa you just say WOW. The spa is absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend Voda Spa to anyone looking for a great experience. I will definitely be back!!!! Pros: beautiful spa, amazing treatments and wonderful staff Cons: none!!! more

Wonderful 4/7/2009

Went to Voda with a co-ed group and had a phenomenal time. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The therapists are talented and definitely earn their keep. The spa menu has lots of really unique options--like the platza--that make it a real treat. It may be one of the best spa experiences I've ever had. Thank you, Rose, for an awesome massage! And thank you VodaSpa for a great day. Pros: Great facility, excellent therapists, fantastic food more

Fantastic Experience 4/6/2009

From the receptionist to the massage therapists and everyone in between top level service i have ever had. Being it my first time being at a spa all other spas definitely have a standard to meet. Voda Spa transports your mind and body to shut out the outside world and come into their space/world for however long you want to. The plus side is this place closes at midnight so if your out and about in the west side and need to wind down from a busy night , its the relaxation destination. Pros: A-List Celebrity Treatment even though im not a celebrity Cons: No complaints here more

Love This Spa! 4/6/2009

Voda Spa is a great place to be especially on the weekend and is fun with friends you can eat lunch, have drinks and relax at the same time! I love the trendy hotel/ resort feel and everyone is super nice and not snobby which I just cannot stand. I have been to spa's all over LA and this one is definitely one of the BEST yet. I will be back to Voda Spa a lot that's for sure. Pros: Very relaxing and has a trendy resort feel! Cons: No cons. more

A fun yet relaxing experience! 4/6/2009

I've been to many spas. Voda spa stands out because its also a great place for couples day at the spa or with friends. they have co-ed areas and a beautiful full bar and food. Who would of expected great food at a spa but he food was amazing. I will definitely go back! My massage was fantastic and they have one of a kind treatments that are really nice. =) Pros: Beautiful facility, great treatments, friendly staff Cons: What are the drawbacks? more

Not so much... 3/4/2009

While the space is impressive, I did not have a good experience at this ""spa"". First of all, upon check in, I was asked to leave some of my valuables in a safety deposit box. What?! \r In addition, there was a family there. I'm sorry but it seems very inappropriate for children to be jumping in the pool and jacuzzi at a spa. I tried to get some peace by heading into the steam room where I found multiple couples talking and giving eachother massages with oil. Ok. So I tried the ""relaxation room"" which was basically also a singles scene where men were receiving footrubs from women and a loud sports game blared from the TV. My massage was nice but I was completely distracted from this jarring experience. Skip it. more
