Great Staff 9/6/2012

The doctor and staff are cheerful and gentle with the animals. I brought my dog in last night, after she took a bad fall. While waiting for x-rays, I saw how the other animals are treated with kindness and love. Our doctor was very helpful and skilled at avoiding any unnecessary pain. The x-ray showed no fractures. A little medication was prescribed. A good night of sleep and Jackie is feeling better today. I highly recommend these people. more

Skilled and friendly 11/3/2008

I had my dog freckles neutered at this location and i felt they made the process easier. My dog is like my family so it's hard to find the right people to take care of your pet, but they were experts and did a great job. more

Very Helpful 10/18/2008

My cat was injured. Our vet was closed so we took are cat here. The wait was less than an hour and we were able to leave pretty quickly. Service was good seeing that we were one of four other pet owners were there, (not really sure what to expect, since this was the first time at a pet hospital.) I recommend this place if your vet was not available. more

Better than nothing 4/25/2007

I've been completely underwhelmed with Bayshore. At first, I was grateful to find them, open on a holiday weekend, and able to see my cat right away (who wasnt eating well and was losing weight).\r \r But I have repeatedly been disappointed. The hospital is in a horrible neighborhood. The vet acted clueless about what might be going on and after some overpriced blood work, sold me some overpriced pills to stimulate my cat's appetite. She essentially said she didn't know what was wrong but these pills will help. They did...but they also totally sedated my cat, even at 1/4 of the dose the doctor advised. I called the vet and she said she didn't know the medication was sedating--but every website Id read about the drug said that was the #1 side effect. Her only advice was lower the dose and consider a $350 ultrasound which may or may not diagnose the problem.\r \r I subsequently brought my cat in for boarding and was shocked at the charges. Each day was like $16 PLUS 5 bucks a day jus more

displeased with the service 5/15/2006

I am very displeased with the service and vets at Bayshpre Animal Hospital . From my experience the vets now seem to not be that knowledgeable and when asked a question, don't really know how to answer. Wait time became extremely long and when i wanted to voice my concern i was referred to a office manager. They advised that he will call me, but no call so far. It's been over a couple of months. This is just my humble opinion and i am taking my dogs elsewhere." more

Our puppy was really sick so I took him in. We had a horrible experience with our vet, so it was really nice to be dealing with helpful, caring and intelligent people. The receptionist was so nice- I was a crying mess. Dr. Wolf was also really understanding and explained all the studies he would be doing. He also noticed our puppy was extremely dehydrated and was really surprised our vet hadnt given him an IV or conducted any tests. When going through a difficult time, its so great to have caring people to be there for you. more

If your pet gets sick 11/19/2005

I have had to utilize this hospital in the middle of the night before. They are a 24 hour hospital which really does make life easier for everyone. Having a sick pet is bad enough, but when a pet gets sick in the middle of the night it can be a confusing time. This place makes it easier for all of us by being there when we need them most. The staff are courteous and friendly and the doctor is very well versed in animal care. more

Paging Nurse Ratched 6/24/2005

I tried this animal hospital because it seemed very cutting-edge and the website had a sort of "Kaiser" feel to it, which at first I thought was a good indication of superior service. My experience was horrible. It was difficult to find, and once there, didn't seem very clean. The worst part about it was they took my cat into another room to examine him. I don't know what they did to him, but he was traumatized, and so was I. When I asked for his medication, they lied and told me it wasn't manufactured anymore but they had some special food to sell me that would be just as good. Overall a horrible experience for both human and feline. more
