We bought our first new car through University Mazda. We test drove a 6 station wagon, loved it, and wanted to buy it. We worked with Frank, who assured us that we were getting a great deal. That's the sort of thing you take with a grain of salt, but we weren't up for much haggling. Then my partner found out that she could get special pricing through her fleet discount at work (essentially lets employees buy cars at close to cost). We took that in and it turned out to save us less than $30 off of the best price we'd been offered. Frank was also helpful in getting us some post-market upholstery done (we wanted leather + manual transmission--harder than you'd think.) I've since been into the service department and entirely impressed with them. And we love, love, love the car. I'll be back for another Mazda from UM somewhere down the road... more

While I did not buy the used car we test drove...this was the very best used car shopping experience I've had to date. The salesman was knowledgeable and gave us the perfect balance of attention and "space". I would highly recommend University Mazda. I have also purchased parts from this dealer and was generally pleased with the experience. They could have been a little more attentive and better staffed...it took a little longer than I expected to get to the counter. more

I bought my first new car from University Mazda and it was generally a quick, painless experience. Rather than go in to dealerships to haggle, I had faxed out a specific list detailing the car I wanted including color and options. University Mazda faxed back the cheapest quote and acknowledged that the car they would be able to obtain had extra dealer installed options beyond what I had requested. Even with these items, University Mazda's quote came in well below any other Mazda dealer in fifty mile radius! We set a time to test drive my actual vehicle and complete the paperwork. The car and paperwork were both ready at the appointed hour. There was no last minute haggling or deal-breaking, University Mazda came through as they promised, making for a fantastic experience of buying a car. Next time I'm in the market for a Mazda, that's where I'm heading. more
