If you roll into Erie late at night and:
a)there are no other rooms available in town
b)you have no relatives in town
c)you have no money
d)you're the adventurous type
then the Thunderbird Motel is the place for you. One of the lower priced hotels in the Erie area, at the Thunderbird, you get what you pay for. Clean, basic, unique rooms. No on site restaurant, but the TB is located on West 12th Street where you have access to many different food stops and grocery stores with just a short drive, bus ride, or a slightly longer walk. The cantankerous lady that runs the place, she's just the icing on the cake. If you are a writer, this would be good place to hole up while writing your novel, lol!!
