I was impressed with them, reasonable rent and quiet, good neighbors. The building was constructed right, so that you do not pay a lot in energy bills. It might cost you a little more in rent, but what you save in utilities makes up for it. It is also covenant to the freeway, and local shopping. I would gladly stay there again. more

Thornhill has been a great experience for me. I was super worried about my first apartment; it seems everyone has a bad first apartment story. I lucked out. I have lived at Thornhill for about 3 years and had 2 different apartments. I haven’t had any issues that I see in other reviews. The office staff is very helpful and the maintenance team is always on top of any work I need done. I would happily refer friends and family to live here and have had my parents rent one of their suites when they came to visit me. Don’t listen to the reviews out there that slam this place, its not nearly as bad as they say. more

So happy with my apartment complex and even happier now! I received a notice saying that my building is going smoke free! I have been looking at smoke free complexes, but didn’t want to move; now I don’t have to. I have been very happy with my entire time here at thornhill. Maintenance is always very prompt and takes care of my issue the first time. The office staff is kind and friendly, they are always willing to spend time with me when I have questions. They even helped me renew my lease while I was on vacation (I had forgotten to renew, but they called to remind me) they emailed me the lease and I was able to get it taken care of quickly and when I got back into town they gave me a carpet cleaning coupon! Now that my building is going smoke free, I will definitely be staying for quite a while! Very Very Happy! more

I have lived at Thornhill since before they were Thornhill! (they used to be called Springhill). I have never been happier with an apartment complex. My neighbors are quiet, i never hear them and I work odd hours. Once in a while I will hear a door shut hard.. but that’s it! \r They recently started accepting pets, which means I finally got to bring my kitty home with me! \r I love the Management company and all the “girls” in the office, they are very friendly and helpful…. They have even walked me through the online rent payment more times than I can count. (one of these times I will remember how to do it!) \r I have not one complaint about the mangament, maintenance, etc. I plan on staying until they don’t let me anymore lol!!!\r more

I am happy I found thornhill…. They saved me tons of money… I had been staying in a hotel since I was going to be here for only 4 months, I couldn’t find an apartment complex that would offer a short lease. Luckily, I found thornhill. They offered me a lease as short as 2 months. I am so happy with my apartment here I am upset that I have to leace. I haven’t had any issues with noise, neighbors, or maintenance problems. I highly recommend thornhill to everyone!!!! more

I stay here all the time and i love it. They rent out some of their apartments as hotel rooms. They are always clean and are HUGE for the price. We always stay here when we are in town for a show.\r For the reviews that are upset that its not a standard hotel... i am not sure what you were expecting when you booked... but it looks like an apartment complex on all the sites i have used....\r I HIGHLY recommend everyone to stay here!!!! more

I love my apartment. We were looking for a nice apartment to move to when we got married. I found it in Thornhill. We were able to move in almost immediately (the background check took a little longer than I would have liked). \r I haven't had any issues with the apartment or the office staff. They have been very helpful and have sent out maintenance to fix any issues. \r more

I have been living at Thornhill Park (Springhill when I moved) for about 4 years now. I have enjoyed living here the entire time. The girls in the office are always very nice and helpful. The maintenance men are very helpful, and have helped me with several things around my apartment. \r Recently, I fell and my doctor told me and that I no longer live on the 2nd floor… I was worried I would have to leave Thornhill, but they helped me transfer to a first floor apartment of the same style. \r Thornhill has recently made a couple big changes, at first I was worried, but they have gone over amazingly well…. First they went to only online payments, then they started going non-smoking…. And now they are accepting pets. I haven’t seen any snaffuus from the changes. \r I am very please with my residency here at Thornhill Park… I hope I can have many more. \r more

I have lived at here for several years and have been pleased with my experience. They have always been willing to work with me when I get antsy and are looking to move. They have let me change apartments here a couple times and I have never had any issues. more

I am glad that I finally got to move in here. I have been looking at this complex for a while as I work across the street at petsmart. They have always said tha they were pet free. However, they are now accepting pets!!! I put down my deposit and I am set to move in next week!!! They don?t have a weight limit either, which means my chocolate lab can come with me. Most places do allow him because he is over 50 lbs. This complex allows any size, they just have breed restrictions. more

I found these apartments on Apt ratings website. I read the reviews and decided to give it a try and It hold up to the great reviews and blows the bad reviews out of the water. I am not sure why they got the bad reviews, this property is great! The property is beautiful and lively. more

We lived in Thornhill Park (previously Springhill Apartments) for a year. We originally signed a 6 month lease and was forced to renew whenever we couldn't find a different place to move. When we first moved in we had all kinds of issues - the knobs on the stove were broken, the toilet ""ran"" all the time, lights were out and the internet jack was all messed up (and required the internet company to come out and fix it). We later had washer/dryer issues and the water heater stopped working. Maintenance always came out within 1-2 days to fix things, but it was just a hassle having to call all the time. The summer we moved in, the pool was shut down because of pump problems and we often found that the hot tub was never cleaned and was broken often as well. There were a few times we would invite friends over only to walk down there and find cold water :(. Another major downfall is they allow smoking in the apartments - any apartment. Our neighbor smoked, profusely, and we were forced to buy an air purifier. It only helped sometimes, but during the winter we had to keep the bathroom and bedroom door shut because it would leak through really badly. Guests would think that we had been smoking! Our just over 500 square foot apartment had a rent increase of $50 a month, yes A MONTH when we went to resign our 6 month lease. We got them to waive it... But they increased it $106 A MONTH- that's almost $1300 a YEAR when our lease went up again. That's when we decided it was time to move on, for sure. So, we received our ""Intent to vacate"" notice on our door one day, we were out of town and brought the paper down to the office and turned it in. Before we moved out, we went down to the office and verfied our move out date and if we should expect any charges. They checked our paperwork and told us we should be good to go, as long as we cleaned thoroughly. So, we moved out on the day our lease ended, brought everything up to the office and, again, no one said anything to us. A week or so later we received a bill for $154 because we did not turn in our ""Intent to vacate"" form 60 days from the day our lease ended!!! What is crap is THEY provided the form 4 days AFTER the 60 day mark had passed! How shady is THAT?! NO where on the notice did it say that by not turning it in ASAP that you would be charged, OR did it say that you would already be charged because they provided the notice late. After trying to talk to management they wouldn't reply to any emails, and wouldn't budge in person. Apparently the notice is a courtesy --- in my opinion you aren't doing someone a favor by intentionally providing a notice once charges have ALREADY been incurred. A courtesy is a reminder BEFORE this happens. Our lease had been ?adjusted? for +6 days (what?s the point of a lease then?!) which means WE moved out 6 days earlier than we had too, leaving them to rent it to someone NEW and to received DOUBLE rent on our apartment!!! more

My husband and I really miss living here. The management and office staff are fantastic. They really cared about keeping this place in order and the renters happy. more

I rented one of the larger one bedroom apartments and it's the perfect size, includes washer and dryer in the kitchen. There are only two drawbacks - fairly minor ones at that - the walls are thin so a fair bit of noise from the neighbors. Fortunately, they're reasonably quiet other than I can hear footsteps overhead constantly. The other drawback is the bathroom is small and can't open two of the cupboards fully as the doors hit the toilet. I'm away a fair amount due to work and personal situation but don't have to worry much about security or anything else. The grounds are clean and well kept, the staff is always pleasant, the sidewalk are well maintained, a big plus as parking is a fair distance from the apartment. Overall, it's a great location and a fine place to live. more

my apartment was clean when i moved in. the landscaping is kept nice in though it is still winter. i love that the hot tub is open year round. you can hear some noise from other apartments, but nothing terrible. the apartments only have electric heat, which seems to be a little more expensive, but nice that i only that 1 utility bill. free wifi in the clubhouse was nice until i got my own set up. more
