I initially thought I found the best bridal store as I absolutely loved my bridal consultant. She was so helpful and actually found my dress. I even recommended this store to a friend who purchased her dress there a month later! I decided to look at bridesmaid dresses at this store even though I was concerned about the prices. We ended up picking a dress from Bridal Boutique. Mind you, I have 8 girls...so that is 8 bridesmaids and 1 wedding dress. We made this store a lot of $$. When my girls got measured, each of them were told sizes that really did not match. They were told to go smaller then let out larger. Unfortunately, we went that route. We currently have one bridesmaid who does not fit into her dress. Additionally, they ordered the wrong size dress for one of my friends. They told her it was no big deal even though it did not fit AT ALL. They said that they would take the dress out. We brought the dress to another shop who said that professionally they would never take out a dress with such little material to work with and the dress would have permanent line/stains down the sides. Upon pick up of my wedding dress, they acted as though I was bothering the store members and I was ushered in and out of my dress. I do not trust the alterations department at this store either as they told me that my wedding dress fit me great while it was falling down. The store has since ignored all of calls, emails, and everyone who I speak with tells me that they will call me back. I am now 3 months to my wedding without the proper bridesmaid dress. POOR costumer service and would not recommend my worst enemy to go to this store. more

Since this was the closest bridal boutique, I naturally wanted to go here first. My co-worker and friends advised me not to, but I figured if they were rude, I'd leave. I made an appointment on a weekday, but still had to wait about 10 minutes, which was fine. \r \r The girl who helped me was nice and helpful. I actually found the dress that I wanted. The price was a lot more than I expected. I asked her if it could go down a little and she went to her supervisor. Her supervisor told her that they could offer me free ""expedited shipping"" even though my wedding was 7 months away. I hardly doubted it needed to be expedited. AND this deal was only good for 24 hours. They tried to rush me into deciding. \r \r The girl told me that I was cutting it way too close and had to decide yesterday. If I didn't order my dress now, it would be too late for my wedding. I told her it was over my budget and she suggested that I trim my budget in something other than my dress. She even called me the next day to warn me that my deadline was looming. The offer was only good until 5PM. \r \r I found the dress for about $700 less at other boutiques. So instead of buying my dress for $2000, I got it for $1285 about 20 miles away. I ordered it 2 months AFTER my visit to Columbia Bridal Boutique and they didn't even have to ""expedite it"". I almost fell for the tactic and am glad I didn't get pressured into it. They tried to make it sound like they were giving me a great deal and if I didn't take it right away, it would disappear. \r \r I advise brides everywhere to remember not to be pressured into a very important purchase and make sure you feel comfortable before you buy. Be sure to ask them when they expect the dress to arrive and get it all in writing. Good luck ladies!! more

I ordered my wedding dress there with no problem. Thankfully when it came to the alterations for the bustle for the trail, they added a hockaneyes instead of a button. Who in their right mind would add something to small to hold something so heavy. As for my BM dresses 3/5 of them live in NY and NJ. Now I got them down here to get measured to get their dress. Mind you I was thinking that they only need to come down here one other time to try on the dress and then take them home, well the dresses came in a week early and I took my sister to try on the dresses and it was 2 sizes to big. I got pissed because when they were measuring her, they insisted that she was a size 18 and we told them to order a size 16, now some of the workers didn't even bother with us, told us that there is nothing that can be done about it and rolled their eyes and walked away. After that I took my wedding dress out from the store because they still had to steam the dress and I didn't trust them after what they did with the BM dresses. Their customer service is less than good... more

I read all of the reviews and decided to take a chance. BIG MISTAKE!!! I was like, well, if they are rude I will leave. They were not rude....to me...other customers, maybe a little more so. But still that I had an appt, they dealt with me, we found a dress, Great!!! Put down a deposit, I would get my dress in 4 months. more

Wow....normally I don't bother posting reviews but the experience I had at the Columbia Bridal Boutique yesterday really warrants one to possibly help other brides and bridesmaids avoid wasting their time at this place. I went there to look for bridesmaid's dresses for my best friend's wedding. If the salesperson had actually introduced herself, or said more than two words to me or any of the other girls, I would be posting her name...she was the most unhelpful, condescending, rude, and snotty sales associate I have encountered in quite some time. She acted like it was a HUGE burden to help clip one of the girls into a sample that was way too big...really? That's your job, and you should do it with a smile, or at the very least just without a nasty attitude. If only she got a commission for rolling her eyes and mouthing rude comments about us, she'd be a billionaire! The only inclination she, or anyone else gave of actually caring about making a sale was when we said we'd keep looking and she proceeded to pressure everyone with some excuse about how every dress designers' factories shut down for the entire month of December and we all HAVE to by TODAY!! From speaking to previous customers, or once potential customers, I've learned that this is not a unique experience or just a sales associate on an ~off day~...I've heard NOTHING positive from anyone about their customer service. On top of everything else, the store itself and the sample dresses are extremely unimpressive, not clean, and poorly organized. Seriously, don't waste your time! more

My mom, sister, and I went to Columbia Bridal Boutique this weekend to look for my wedding dress. I was kind of dreading the experience because I thought that shopping was going to be stressful and overwhelming. However, the experience was wonderful. I worked with Sabina - she's great! I brought a few pictures of styles I liked, and she went to work right away to pull different dresses for me to try. She has a great eye and works efficiently, and encouraged me to try different styles. The third dress was ""MY dress."" Sabina completed the look with an amazing veil that was just perfect with the dress. She also dimmed the lights so I could see how it would look during the reception. She didn't make me feel rushed AT ALL, and in fact encouraged me to continue trying on more dresses to make sure I was sure about my choice (although I was!). Sabina was such a pleasure to work with and made the experience not only enjoyable, but fun! I need to get some minor alterations and am optimistic that my great experience will continue...I'll definitely post a review after the work is completed. For great customer service, good selection, and reasonable prices I suggest going to Columbia Bridal Boutique! Pros: Great customer service; reasonable prices Cons: Alterations are extra costs more

I found my dress here! A young lady by the name of Elly helped me. She was so patient and understood everything I said about the dress I described. If you go here, I would definitely recommend getting an appointment with her. After helping me find the perfect wedding gown, she told me to set up an appointment to bring in my bridesmaids to help find their dresses. Everything worked out so perfectly and we even got our tuxes here. The gentleman in the tux department was very helpful and helped my fiance and his groomsmen find the tuxes they were going to wear at the wedding! Oh my favorite part, everything was so reasonable!! I found my wedding dress here! I had a wonderful experience and the customer service was amazing! All of the ladies who worked here were so helpful and patient. I told them the kind of dress I was looking for, what I liked and didn't like or want in a dress. I described to my sales associate exactly what I had in mind and she pulled out a few dresses to try on.. the first dress I tried on here was the one I ended up getting married in! I decided to bring my bridesmaids in and my husband (fiance at the time, obviously) decided to bring his groomsmen in as well! It was an amazing experience. I found my dress at the Bridal Boutique in Columbia yesterday evening! I had been shopping for wedding dresses since mid july and I finally found the one I love!! A lady by the name of Ellie helped me, and she was AMAZING! She even set up my appointment to help with bridesmaids and tuxes for my braidsmaids and the groomsmen in our wedding! I would definitely recommend them, especially because they had a good and very reasonable selection!! Pros: customer service, selection, prices Cons: distance from my house! more

I would not recommend Columbia Bridal under any circumstance for tux rental. They messed up every tux in our recent 8 tux rental. The tuxes were missing buttons, wrinkled, too short, too long, too tight, even 2 different collars on the shirts! According to the business these problems were our fault, and we had to fight to get a refund on the most horrible mistakes. They are most unprofessional in that they tried to deny responsibility for the errors! Save yourself much grief. Rent elsewhere! more

I dont know what happened to a few of you but I had a really great experience. I really enjoyed working with kirty she really knew what she was doing and was honest about what she thought about my dress without making me feel bad like the sales associate at davids was. I got a great deal on my dress and they gave us a discount on our tuxedos too. all around a good experience. If it was possible to give a negative star, I would. This is the worst shop I have ever been to. I was rushed so I did not have time to be picky. I paid for a RUSH and was promised it would be there in 30 days. Almost 7 weeks later the dress showed up. It did not fit! It practically fell off. They charged me more than $100 to alter it, which included taking the top part completely apart and redoing it. When I went to pick it up (on the day before I needed it), the top did not fit and showed half of my bra. They would not refund my money and the fitting seamstress gave me the finger. The customer service was horrible and whenever I asked to speak to a manager, she mysteriously had just left. I will have to find anther seamstress to fix what they were unable to. When I first went here I was impressed. I purchased my wedding gown and went about ordering my bridesmaid dresses. I made a large deposit on each of the 4 bridesmaid dresses. When the order came in a man left me a voicemail stating that no deposits had been made and that the two girls I knew had paid their dresses off had not. I had to send a copy of my credit card statement to prove that I had paid them 4 eighty dollar deposits, $320 worth of deposits. On my next credit card bill they had charged me another $80, for nothing. Pros: Good selection and prices. Cons: They steal your money and bill your credit card for the fun of it. more

I was not impressed by the costumer service one bit. I thought things were unorganized.The sales women kept leaving me and I ended up waiting around most the time. I suggest going else where.
