Tax Center, Morrisville, NC 9/30/2010

I am extremely happy with the tax advice I have received from Steve McKeown at the Tax Center. I have been doing my own taxes for many years. Last year I had some unusual circumstances and needed assistance. Steve quickly summarized what the important issues were and how I could best resolve them. He saved me hours of time trying to figure out what to do. Steve has an incredible depth of knowledge about taxes, and he is also a very nice guy. Steve is very good at explaining complex issues and determining what the priorities are. I highly recommend him and the Tax Center. more

We have had our corporate taxes and personal taxes prepared at Tax Center for several years. Steve has my utmost trust and respect. His knowledge of tax laws is superb. His dedication to detail is outstanding. His efficiency is always above expectations. His ability to explain complex issues in layman’s terms is one of his many assets. Steve has always treated us like we’re the only clients he has. Having worked in the past with high priced accounting firms, we feel Tax Center has achieved better results at a much better value. Steve challenges the home computer and wins 4/2/2010

Steve challenged our daughter’s home computer in 2010. She’s only been out of school for two years and has worked full time ever since. Last year, she used a tax program on her home computer. The result: she paid $375 to Uncle Sam. This year, we urged her to use Steve. With the same salary, she got a refund of over $800. What did she learn? Steve out performed the computer in lots of ways. “Doing my taxes on my computer used to make me so nervous. Now I just hand Steve the paperwork and sign the return….it’s so simple and easy…and he was very patient with me.” She’ll be a customer for life. Recommended for biz and personal taxes 2/1/2010

I can strongly recommend Tax Center and Steve McKown strongly for personal and business taxes. My last two personal returns had errors and missed deductions from my former tax preparers. Steve quickly found the errors and suggested I amend the returns and refile. Was happy to get some money back, way more than the r...easonable price charged for the service. Tax Center has also helped me with my S-corp taxes. One stop shopping at very reasonable prices. Pros: Reasonable prices, prompt service more

Salvaged my botched tax filing 12/30/2008

I e-filed my taxes using online tax prep and messed it up. I stopped by Tax center to see if anything can be salvaged with no expectation but walked out richer. Steve patiently looked at my earlier filing and all paper work and e-filed correct/amended taxes and I ended up getting a refund!!\r Check 'em out!\r -Raj more

Best Tax Preparation 12/20/2006

I started using the Tax Center in 2000 and I do not ever plan to use anyone else. They treat me as a person and they really know the Tax Law. Pros: Very easy to get to and their service is excellent. more
