T & G Hair Salon

I've been going to Anna now for about 5 months. Both times I've been there, she has given me the cut I asked for and it's very clear that she knows what she is talking about when discussing color etc. I'm very picky about my hair and Anna certainly does a great job. more

Good: I loved the service quick and friendly. They did an amazing job my hair looks great. There prices are low and reasonable.. Bad: There's nothing to complain about. Improvements: Every thing was super the way it is. Other: I loved the fact that it was a nice place to relax read a book and watch TV. more

So they were advertising a sale on color, and I needed a haircut that day. I talk with them a bit about a cut and color. The woman behind the counter was really rude and I nearly walked out. I really really wish I had. My hair is almost shoulder length and she said the highlights would cost "a little more" Well...four and a half hours later they hand me a bill for $183!!!! For a cut, root touch up and highlights. and by the way did I mention my hair was orange?! more

How often do you really find yourself walking into a hair salon on a Friday afternoon and finding it... empty? I suppose suspicion should have risen from this, but I was in a hurry and they took walk-in appointments, so I stuck it out. First, the stylist was completely unfriendly - somewhat rude and totally unwilling to engage in any form of conversation. Second, I had to repeat what I wanted done to my hair several times before it was acknowledged, and it took several 'How's that?' moments before it was finally right. And third, and probably most irritating, their cash register and credit card machinery were functioning poorly -- which they failed to mention beforehand. I left with a bad haircut and a hand-written credit card reciept. Avoid at all costs! Even paying out the nose at the Ulta salon down the strip mall would be better than dealing with T & G. more
