WORST Gym. Terrible with preschoolers. One of the teachers wouldn't pay attn to my child who was crying because it was a new class and the teacher said,'what do you want me to do. there are 7 other kids in the class'. Appalled, I was told the only way to talk to the owner about this was to email her. Still haven't heard back from her and it's been over 2 weeks. more

BEST GYM 5/7/2012

Superior Gymnastics is a five star gym in the Raleigh area. The coaches are compassionate and caring. My daughter began here 3 years ago as a pre-team and is now a level 5. She looks forward to going to her training 4 times a week. The coaches are very personable and keep the parents informed. The facility has plenty of equipment for the recreation and team gymnasts. My daughter is 8 years old and enjoys the track out camps and other gym sponsored activities outside of her competitive team obligations. more

The WORST gymnastics for Preschoolers!!! 3/14/2012

I had my child attending this gym because i was suggested them by a cheer coach but little did she know that with out supervision the ""coaches"" aren't the best with young kids! Ive seen coaches yell at 3 year olds for getting sick during class...guess what kids get sick!! I also had a personal incident with one of the coaches and the management did NOTHING!!! Being i have a ZERO tolerance for a teachers abusing my child, I took my child out immediately!! I would suggest try other places ( Wake Gymnastics, TAG in Apex)and you'll be surprised how much better the gyms are and can treat children properly!! Even the manager Andrea suggested other gyms that may be more kid friendly...instead of making their own gym kid friendly!!! If you do go to the gym don't get Breane or Sarah. Although, I suggest you never take your kids there!! Ask around a lot of parents that have sent there kids here had a few bad teachers and since they rotate teachers constantly you could end up with a pincher or a screamer as your kids coach!! Not worth the chance!! All the best!! more

Fantastic 2/15/2012

I am a gymnast here on team. The reason that the coaches have you work constantly on one thing is because they want you to perfect the skill so other skills become easier. That is just the way gymnastics works. I know I get tired of doing the same thing everyday, but I know I have to push through it because it's for the best of me. This is a gym that encourages excellence and brings the best out of your child. I say give it a second chance and try to understand it from that point of view. Also, try talking with the coaches if you have a concern because they don't know your concerns unless you tell them. more

Love it here 8/11/2011

My older daughter started here in the rec classes almost 4 years ago and my younger daughter started the year after. While in the rec program, both girls were challenged appropriately and shown a tremendous amount of encouragement. My older daughter tried out for the team and made pre-team where they continued to develop her skills to prepare her for competition. She will be starting her first season in a few weeks and is extremely well prepared. The coaches are firm but compassionate and treat every child in a manner to get the most from them. All the coaches are very experienced and are concerned about safety over everything else. As a physical therapist, this is extremely important to me as I have seen what poor form can do to an athlete. My younger daughter was coach selected to go onto pre-team as a 4 year old. This summer they participated in the NC State games and my daughter, who is now 6, had a BLAST! She talked about that experience for weeks afterward. Superior is also one of the few gyms in the area that has a TOPs program. I have run out of room but look it up. It's an impressive program. We love it here! more

Poorly Run 6/1/2011

My child has been going to Superior Gymnastics for 6 months now and it's sub par and poorly run. No one seems to know what is going on and their policies are hard to understand and change without notice. The coaching seems to have no real planning behind it, My child has been doing the same stuff for 6 months now. The coaches don't seem to know what they are doing and their is no real lesson. I feel like their are better run gyms out there. Save your money and go somewhere else. more
