Brandon, service specialist, from Sullivan Super Service was a tremendous help. In purchasing our new house, we hired Sullivan Super Service to camera the sewer line. In the course of the investigation, it was discovered that tree roots had blocked the sewer. We chose Sullivan Super Service to Hydrojet the sewer. Brandon, the service specialist, did a fantastic job. He and Mark arrived at scheduled time and promptly cleared the sewer of the blockage. Brandon was skilled at running the hydrojet machine and professional to explain the operation . We would recommend Brandon and commend his work and professionalism. I scheduled my yearly furnace inspection on September 14, and the technician, Rory, was super courteous, very patient and helpful with all of my questions :-) He worked quickly, yet did a very thorough inspection. I've had Sullivan servicing my furnace for 10+ years, and am always very satisfied with their service. Their emergency service can't be beat -- One day a few winters ago, my furnace just stopped heating, I called Sullivan, they came out the same day, and corrected the problem. I just bought this house and wanted to make sure the furnace checks out before winter. I responded to an early bird post card I received and was pleased with the results. The lady who made my appointment was pleasant and a date and time that met my needs was quickly arranged. The tech arrived on time and went right to work. What I appreciated most was when he spotted an issue he just pointed it out to me but didn't try to scare or pressure me into anything. I did follow his suggestion however and expect this winter to be problem free. more

We have tries the rest and Sullivan is the best! If you live in PA you know there is going to be a cold winter day when your furnace stops, if you call someone else you may have to wait as much as a day!!! Not my guys! Sullivan has the friendliest and most knowledgeable workers and best of all - join the club and they are at your house asap and if they say 830am, they mean 830am! Worth every penny and the do it right the first time ;) We love our furnace and hot water tank! If Marcus comes out you even get a history lesson in European plumbing - God bless the Queen and those old pipes, if he can work with those, you know he can fix yours!!!!!! more

I have been a customer for several years and have requested both heating and hot water tank repair services. In both instances I have received prompt, courteous and efficient repair call by Marcus. He is knowledgeable, personable and willing to offer repair choices so that I have control of my repair experience. He reviewed the work to be done, then explained the repairs required and the cost for these services. I felt the charges were fair and the work was completed in an efficient manner. I am delighted also when I call for service that I am told when to expect the repairman to arrive and they actually come on time and prepared to complete the work with all tools and equipment needed. After the rainbarrel was installed, we signed up as Preferred Customer-Care Partners. For a reasonable monthly fee, we enjoy no service call charges during normal business hours, discounts on certain services, priority scheduling of service calls, annual furnace and AC inspections and tune-ups, and a 100% satisfaction guarantee. We have had to replace both the furnace and AC, and we were very satisfied with the quality of the equipment and work performed. In the case of the furnace (which of course failed during the coldest days of the winter), the original equpment took much longer to remove than the technicians anticipated, but they stayed long past the estimated time of completion to finish the job, without any complaint or irritation. All of the Sullivan employees whom we have had contact with are friendly, professional, and courteous. Donna, who answers the phone and schedules service calls, gives me a 4-hour time window for an appointment time, calls on the day of the appointment to confirm, and then calls again when the technicians have completed the previous job and are en route to my house. When the technicians arrive, they always put booties on over their shoes before they come into the house to protect the floors and carpeting. They clean up thoroughly after the work is completed. I get a thorough explanation of the inspection results and all work that has been performed, and I frequently receive coupons for discounts on future service. Yes, Sullivan's fees probably are more expensive than what some other companies charge, but in my opinion, the quality of the work and prompt, attentive service are worth it. more

We recently had Sullivan's Services replace our furnace and install a new air conditioning unit. The service was excellent and the workers were professional, courteous, helpful and friendly. Their work was finished in a timely manner (just as promised) and they also cleaned up after themselves. We're extremely pleased and would highly recommend Sullivan's to anyone who needed any kind of plumbing or HVAC work done. more

Sullivan Super Service installed a new high efficiency furnace in my home. The service was great. The installers were clean cut professionals that were very respectful. The did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. They have been to my house every year since to perform maintenance. I also have used them for plumbing issues and have been very satisfied. This company repaired my air conditioner, response was great, service was excellent and price was reasonable... I will definately call them for any furnace, air conditioning or plumbing problems... No wonder they have an A+++++++++ with the BBB.... I will be a Sullivan Plumbing and Heating customer for life!!!! If you have any problems definately call here... more

Answering service and technician were very nice and they responded quickly, but their prices are outrageous. They charge flat fee, not by the hour. They wanted almost $500 to unclog the kitchen drain and install a new disposal. Come on! - it couldn't take more than 2 hours to do, probably less for a pro. I wish I made $250/hr. Sears charges about $120 for the install, but won't unclog the drain. I had them inspect/clean my furnace instead ($99), so I didn't waste the service charge of $50. Also quoted a price of $440 to install a gas line to my stove (plugged line is already right underneath in the basement). I got a quote of $150 from another plumber. Seem like nice people, but this is price gouging and taking advantage of customers who need an immediate fix. more

Because they were so near my house, and the supposed (baloney) benefits of them touting having been around so long, I decided to give them a try. Service call cost to diagnose water heater problem was $57, which seemed quite reasonable. But then they suck you in with a cheap basic diagnostic charge so that they can then STEAL FROM YOU BLIND!!!! The thief they sent to my house tried to quote me $550 just to replace the heater's thermocouple (a less than $20 part, and about half an hour to install, if that). He also quoted me $2850 if I wanted to replace the water heater, since (using scare tactics) he ""couldn't guarantee"" that the thermocouple replacement would solve the problem for very long (more baloney). A water heater with super-easy access like ours takes about 1.5 hours to replace, if that, and good heaters can be had for $600. So I told him to get out of my house. I told my handyman to meet me at Home Depot in half an hour. I bought a great GE heater for $580, we put it in his pickup, bought a couple connector pipes while we were there, and he put the whole thing in in about 1 hour. Total cost, less than $650, installed for over 400% less than these con artists tried to charge me! They claim to have been around since 1966, but I'd bet some thief bought out the original owners. NOBODY THIS CROOKED COULD KEEP DOING BUSINESS IN THIS MANNER FOR VERY LONG!!!! more

Sullivan Service--A friend with a small water leak in her main line into the house called Sullivan Service. -They quoted her over $4000! We got a local handyman and a helper for under $300 and $45 of plumbing parts. DO NOT CALL THESE PEOPLE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!! Total rip-offs of older women Pros: not Cons: price more

This company is very over priced. How over priced? You can call a 1 or 2 man business and get it done for 1/4 of the price. They say their going to save you money with up front pricing.That's a joke. Its just a way of hiding their hourly rate. If you do call them tell them, you don't like the price and they will go to there truck come back inside and lower it. Be aware very aware.
