I came from a Polish section of Brooklyn, NY and there's really no comparison, either in taste, quality or price.They don't measure up. more

WHAT A SURPRISE 8/21/2007

Close to 35 years ago I left Omaha Ne to live in another state. Just this year, Aug of 2007, I attended the POLISH festival at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. What fun I had. I went to a booth where I won a box of Stoysich Polish Sausage. This was a blast from the past. I grew up eating this sausage and I grew up with Kenny Stoysich (grade school). I returned to Virginia with this frozen box in my suitcase. I cannot tell you how wonderful this sausage is. Upon our return to VA. we had a cookout and served this sausage. Wow! 3/15/2007

OK, I was on a search for the perfect Polish Sausage. My family is coming out for Easter & one of the things we always have is Polish Sausage. We're almost 100% Polish so this stuff has to be good. After reading a few reviews, I opted to try Stoyich. It's not far from the house (actually went to the one out West). Let me say, it was amazing!! Truly like the stuff we used to have in Old South Chicago. I was really impressed with the quality of the meat and the offerings of the store itself. Mission accomplished! more

Stoysich still runs it's business like the old butchers or meatmarkets of days gone by. Very helpful and willing to trim or cut to your specifications and the meat is generally high quality. Homemade sausage, ready to eat meals and game is also available. Stock up here for your next BBQ and support a local business. Quit throwing your money to Kroger et. al. more

Home Made Sausages 9/15/2005

This store has wonderful home made sausages and salamis that are uncomparable to any you have had before. Their apply sausages is a family favorite as are their specialty selections. The store is truly an old fashioned meat market and continually outdoes itself for your most memorable meals ever. We never fail to find some mouthwatering selection. more

Great Meat 8/11/2005

This store advertises itself as having the best meat in town, and they sure do! The sausages are homemade and are absolutely wonderful. The place smells just like a butcher shop, I guess that is because it is! They have a really excellent selection of all different kinds of meats from lamb to beef to chicken, and they will cut it for you any way you want. The prices are a bit higher than at the chain grocery stores but for the freshness and service it is worth it! more
