I moved here from another state and spent a tremendous amount of time researching apartments online. From their website, Stonegate looks like a nice place. Ha! How looks can be deceiving! We've been here just over a year, we follow the rules and try to keep to ourselves. The neighbors below us were selling drugs out of their apartment. They would stay up all night and be obnoxious and visitors constantly came and went all night. We reported it several times to the leasing office who didn't seem to care and nothing was ever done. Finally they moved out when the lease was up not because they were forced to leave. We even called the cops a few times when we heard gunshots outside. Now our neighbors are a couple with multiple children and dogs. We hear them beat their kids on a regular basis, again we've told the office and called the cops and no seems to care. This is the M.O. of Las Vegas. They let the dogs run around outside when the complex has a policy about all dogs being on a lease. I love dogs buy when coming home at night and as dark as the complex is, a small dog can easily startle you. The leasing office has a revolving door on it as it seems they never retain any staff longer than a month. Each time I go in there it's new people including the manager(s). The units are not well made, if your neighbor sneezes, you hear it. Even if your TV or radio is on. The hot water runs out in about 2 minutes so you better shower fast. However if you want warm water out of the sink it will take about 5 minutes of running the faucet to get it warm. Homeless people rummage through the dumpsters which could be a security issue if something personal gets thrown away. The staff of the day are rude, unwilling to listen let alone help you and I was actually talked down to and then was hung up on. So if you enjoy communal living where you can hear your neighbors doing everything and anything then this is the ghetto property for you!
