Nashville?s Hidden Gem! 12/25/2010

I have stayed at different Hotels in the Nashville Area, and this Hotel has great hotel room with large standing shower, the staff was very helpful every time. The rooms are much cleaner than other hotels. There is many different Restaurants in the area, a shopping center within walking, It's only about 5 minutes from the airport, 10 minute to downtown and right off a major highway. The pool was very clean and new work out room. The breakfast is very good, you make your own waffles and they do have plenty of other selection with fresh fruit. i come to Nashville about 2 times a month and plan to stay here because they have micro/fridge, Iron, hair dryer, coffee maker in every single room. Since i have been here i have seen them do some improvements to the place. Thank you for making my stay a pleasure. I recommended this place to everyone to try. more

They have ladies of the night (aka hoookers) in the hallways. The desk clerk will give you a rub-down for an extra 20 bucks. The cleaning ladies have stain removal cleaner in extra large bottle. You can buy druggs there. There was a hobbo leaning against my window. And my shower had a bloood stain in it. Not nice. Pros: Good lookin ladies of the night. Cons: The rub down wasnt worth $20 + tip more

Avoid this hotel. 7/16/2007

When I first arrived a was greeted by a guy who couldn't smile and acted as though I was an inconvenience. I asked for a room with a good wireless signal because of work that I needed to do. Hauled all of my things upstairs and unpacked only to find I could not get a signal. In addition, the rooom smelled awful. Asked the same guy if I could change rooms and he acted as though I was simply a huge inconvenience. New room barely had a signal but could get an intermittent connection. My room was no smoking but the next room had a smoker and the smell was horrible. The air conditioning rattled constantly. They allowed what appeared to be a homeless guy to roam the lobby and sit outside the front door. Every time I went out of my room he would ask me to drive him somewhere. Needed a luggage cart to haul some supplies in but the clerk would not find one for me. Lost any wireless signal in my new room. Was told by the front desk it was my computer. Went out and bought an external wireless card without any improvement. Went back to the desk to find another guy complaining about the signal and another guy sitting on the sofa in the lobby trying to work because he could not get a signal in his room. Had to stay up all night working on contracts for a customer. What should have taken 3 to 4 hours took 12 simply because of the sad internet connection. Went to complain to the front desk several times throughout the night and could never find anyone. Next day I checked out 3 days early and was never even asked why. I went to another hotel in the same block. Other hotel had very pleasant staff who were very accomodating. The accomodations were very clean and the internet connection was perfect. I spend two weeks a month in the Nashville area on business and will never ever spend my money on this hotel again. Cons: Poor service, accomodations are poor, business travelers should definately look elsewhere. more
