The beauty of small town doctors are, they become your friend. Dr. Skelton is a small town doctor. He is both a good doctor and a caring individual. He makes time for his patients when they need him and will refer patients to others if he cannot see them (he is the only doctor in town, so he is often busy in his schedule) or if they need a doctor NOW, or outside treatment.
Many residents of Moundville and Tuscaloosa speak highly of him, and comment that he is one that if he sees you in a store somewhere , he will stop to say "Howdy" and see how you are doing.
He has a nice little office, and it is well up to date with his instruments and tests he can do. He has small town values, but "big city" education. He's just an all around good doctor, and a decent human being.
