Not your traditonal pizza... Its the best!!!! 10/25/2010

I never thought I would take the time to write a review, especially about pizza, but I was so impressed I had to do it. We stopped by the Sicilia on our way to the Broadway Theaters. The owner suggested we try the Mediterranean Pizza. I was amazed that spinach, tomatoes, green olives, chicken, feta, mozzarella and jalapenos in a pick sauce would make such a great combination. The pizza was served with a smile in a very relaxed environment.\r I never thought I would crave pizza, but the Sicilia Kitchen had me wanting more. The next time I went an employee suggested her favorite, pepperoni, green peppers and jalapenos with a spicy pick sauce. This pizza has become my favorite. I tried going back to the traditional chain pizza joints, but it just doesn’t compare. It’s definitely worth the 25 minute drive from my house. If you like deserts the mango cheesecake is heavenly…. I guess they have a deal called “Beat the Clock” its 2 or 3 topping medium pizza and the price is the time you pick it up. (If you’re their facebook friend) \r My only suggestion is to take down the Egyptian art work and get rid of the ceramic fish….. They really make no sense. \r more

best pizza I've ever had! 1/10/2010

I have to admit I wasn't expecting much, it looked like just another pizza place but was I wrong! My dad and I stopped here before going to broadway for a movie and it was amazing. Definietly try the pink sauce on your pizza, it's their white sauce mixed with marinara and its way good. They let us make our own custom pizza and we had mushrooms, pepporoni, basil, tomato and garlic. Everything was fresh and tasty and the crust was perfect. The service was great too, and they did a lot to make sure we enjoyed our meal. $20.00 for a 12 inch pizza, salads and drinks sound great to me! Don't overlook this place. EAT HERE! Pros: pizza, service, fresh ingredients more

Awesome Pizza and Service 3/30/2009

We had Sicilia cater to our event of near 100 people on a Sunday evening and the food was amazing. Everyone raved about the pizza and asked where they can get more. Thanks Amro and Tonya!! Pros: Best pizza in Utah! more

A Place to Come Back To 8/15/2008

I lived in Salt Lake about 8 years ago and a boyfriend turned me on to this place. I LOVE this pizza. I moved back to California but would recommend this place to anyone who came to visit and they all came back with RAVE reviews as well. Well I moved back with my husband and took him here (him being the one who only like Papa Johns) and he admitted this was the best pizza he ever had too. I crave this place. They moved down the street a little since last time i was here and its not so much a ""hole in the wall"" place that it used to be. A must try. Pros: you end up craving this pizza more

Doesn't live up to the hype. 12/11/2007

I heard this was great pie, and was pretty disappointed but for SLC, it's middle of the road.\r \r Typical soft doughy crust - forget about it having any tooth, it's SLC pizza. They don't even form it correctly, they roll it and fold the edge under like the Pie does on their lame crust.\r \r Toppings were OK, applied in a proportional amount to the crust thickness, but the flavorless, textureless crust, the bland sauce and the mediocre quality of the meats left it flat. Better than chain pizza garbage but this is nothing a pizzaiolo would be proud of.\r \r Pros: It's pizza, and it's not from a hut Cons: Just average. more

BEST PIZZA I'VE EVER HAD ANYWHERE! 10/15/2007

My husband and I were looking to grab a quick bite before going to the Broadway. The closest place was Sicilia Pizza - but I really did not feel like eating pizza at all. Hungry, we went and it was the BEST pizza I've ever had anywhere! They are also Vegan friendly :-) more

possibly the best pizza in Utah 1/30/2007

Amro is from Sicily and he makes a genuine 'Sicilian' with ricotta, cinnamon and ginger. You have to ask for it; it isn't on the menu. \r \r At Sicilia Pizza the crust is light and crisp on the edges, soft and steamy inside. It tastes a little sweet, perhaps from secret spices in the sauce. This is one of my favorite pizzas in Salt Lake City. The 8"" personal is perfect for a quick lunch. The calzones take longer to make but are truly worth the extra time. Call ahead and they'll have your order ready when you arrive. Tell Amro I said 'hi.' Pros: quick service, great food, cops eat here all the time Cons: casual diner atmosphere (not necessarily a con) more

Addicting Pizza 12/20/2006

Pizza by the slice, lasagna, monsterous buffalo wings, sandwiches and calzones. I've tried them all and I am always left craving more. The white sauce pizzas are amaizing. The sausage and pepperoni are awesome. The thin crust is made fresh at the store and is soft and very good. If you like pizza, this place is one of the best. Great for lunch. Pros: Great food, price, location Cons: My stomach is too small. more

Most Amazing Pizza 12/1/2006

Sicilia is the best pizza in the world. The tomato basil is magnifique! I have lived many places in the U.S. and haven't found anything I like quite this much. Have a pizza party and class it up with this pie. Yum yum yum. It is locally owned and operated by the owner. He is extremely pleasant and he will remember you. Never a bad time here. Pros: Pizza...deeeelicious, breadsticks...amazing, service...awesome Cons: I liked their old place better. more

Horrible Customer Service 7/14/2006

I bought a couple of gift certificates from 'citydeals' to use at this place. I drove all the way up there, called twice (they had switched locations from the address on the certificate) and then the guy told me that he wouldn't take the certificate because I had bought it from citydeals.\r \r I do not know what the arrangement between the owners and Livewire media was, but if they signed all of these certificates and turned them over to Citydeals, then it is irritating that they would not honor them, especially when it was hand signed by the manager.\r \r I do NOT recommend this place. Pros: Good location Cons: Horrible Customer Service more

Good crust, skimpy toppings 6/4/2003

Sicilia offers a really good crust with tasty toppings, but they skimp on the amount of toppings. All in all good pizza, but toppings make the pizza. Small sparse toppings = pizza that leaves a bit left to be desired. Pros: crust Cons: parking more
