Seemingly a popular, I find this place average. You're able to get dishes of the same quality elsewhere for cheaper prices. The few times I've been...

our thai of choice! 6/7/2007

We eat her probably once a month with extended family. We always order family style so we have about 10 dishes to choose from. Good flavor and we can find stuff even those that aren't crazy about Thai. Personal favorites: Beef salad and Phad Prik King. more

Siam A Different View 10/6/2006

Siam on Lake Union has been one of our favorites since we lived in the neighborhood years ago. While the service can be a bit slow in the dining room, we have remedied that situation by sitting in the lounge. The bartenders are typically friendly and attentive. Its all the better with a no smoking lounge... The only reason I give it a three is that their best bartender, Jay, moved on and its left a hole in the place's personality. more

Seen better days... 12/25/2005

I have a fondness for Siam on Lake Union and Siam on Broadway. They are owned by the same folks. It is where we really got our introduction to thai cuisine. In the last ten years though, it has slipped some. The sauces are just a little to thick. In our last outing, the service was slow and I'm afraid the curry just a little too thick and salty. Oh well, maybe it was just a bad day, but there are now better choices out there. more

Good Thai with Extras 9/14/2005

One of my favorite Thai dishes is pud ke mao. Pud ke mao usually contains tomatoes, onions, bell peppers and big wide rice noodles with a spicy chili sauce. Here they add even more goodies to pud ke mao. You will find baby carrots and bamboo shoots and mushrooms. The dish has the flavor I love with the added goodies as well. Sometimes if you arrive during an off time; you may find that there is no one at the front to seat you. Just poke your head around to let someone know you are there and they will get you seated and served quickly. more

Great Thai if you aren't in a rush 8/30/2005

Superb food, cheap prices for lunch dishes, unfortunately marred by glacially slow service. Nice atmosphere for a chatty lunch. Good Thai iced coffee. more
