I went to Kia/Shortine in Aurora, Co on a Friday, was searching to buy used. Attila Szabo was the salesman who spent alot of time talking with me about used vs new. Pros and Cons. By this time I had done a lot of internet research and all dealers across the board all different makes and models for vehicles with 70-80,000 miles for Sedans, that are not your high end cars all wanted the same prices, but not all offered as good of a warranty. And he was not being pushy at all, that was a nice thing right there. Because he spent the time with me, was so good at what he does, was patient, listened intently to what my needs are according to my life style and budget, is how I came to find out buying new was my best option. Why buy a used 2004-2005 with 70-80,000 miles for $12,000 when I could buy new for $3-$4,000 more and have 100,000 warranty. No one but no one gives that kind of warranty, especially not used. You get what you buy. I definately recommend Attila Szabo to work with, how many sales personnel ""really"" listen to you and then help you to arrive at your needs and especially help you find what fits into your budget. And most of all he treats you with respect and like your somebody who matters. Now that is salesmanship. Thank you again Attila! more

With rather poor credit I was unsure if I could even get a vehicle. I made inquiries via email and they were returned promptly by a sales manager Dave Britton. He worked with my wife and I to find a solution for us. There was no pressure, no hard sales. Everyone we met there was very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend people give these guys a shot. They have a ton of new and used vehicles in various owned dealerships up and down Havana. more

What can I say, he did it again (Attila) I searched for a couple of weeks for the right car for the driving I was doing. I can honestly say That I test drove pretty much everything that was out there, that was a 4 cylinder hybrid. And if you have done your research you will know that Ford, Chevy, Toyota, Nissan, and Kia all have cars that range in the same price. But some have more or less power then others.. I bought my SUV from Attila so I figured I would try them again.. and I was wowed when I took the Kia Optima out for test drive. I fell in love with it.. He is patient, actually listens to you and offers solid advice. He is patient if you don't understand something, Trevor would get ten stars if they allowed it. Today my partner and I went to 2/4/2012

Today my partner and I went to SHORTLINE KIA and found a salesperson that was very knowledgeable and willing to work with us on purchasing our first brand new car. His name was ATTILA SZABO, and was extremely professional and really made us feel relaxed while going through this whole process, which can be unnerving the first time to say the least. Great Service From Marvis Cobb 1/10/2012

This was my first time buying a car and I was definitely a little nervous about it. I feel really lucky that I got to work with Marvis. He was very low-pressure and helpful. I felt like he really wanted me to get a good deal and a good car. He gave me a great deal and went the extra mile to help me learn about my new vehicle. He also went above and beyond by helping me get my ski rack set up on my car. I am so glad that I bought my Forester from Marvis. Excellent Service from Chris Carrerra 12/29/2011

I don't much like car dealerships, however, Shortline is the place to buy your next car. My first car was a 2007 Hyundai Sonata, which I bought from Shortline. Upon entering the dealership, Chris came up and asked what I was interested in, I informed him of my interest in something similar to the Kia Sportage, he quickly directed me to the Hyundai Tucson. Chris informed me of the special discounts they were offering as well as giving me all the specs regarding the Tucson. He let me test drive the vehicle and I fell in love with it. He worked especially hard on cutting the deal and got me a great trade in price on my Sonata! Chris was made for this job, he knows everything about the cars and listens to you. In just the few hours in the showroom with Chris, I felt like I'd known this guy for years. I highly recommend you seek Chris Carrerra out when you visit Shortline, I know you'll be walking out with a great vehicle and a good friend. more

Shady Business Practice 11/11/2011

Needed to get a spare key & remote. I requested a quote and was told/quoted ""$62"" over the phone, so I proceeded to make an appointment. Showed up and the $62 quote was only for labor in creating the key - not for the actual key itself or programing the chip inside the key. Not sure why in the heck a person would only pay for labor and not the actual key/remote. The total costs out the door was $355. Thought this quote/partial disclosure was absolutely DISHONEST AND SHADY. So my question to the service department and the manager on duty was, why would one ever just pay the service charge for a key without the physical key?! No one had an answer for me or was even willing to explain why the quote was incorrect. Got the take or leave it attitude from the service department, so I am taking all my Subaru business elsewhere. I did use their free WIFI to send in a compliant regarding this false - incomplete quote while I waited. No response to date. Everyone was rude so and I am so put off, I am taking time out to again express this frustration. They lost a Subaru customer, as well as my friends and family for this incomplete quote! more

Awesome!!! 11/8/2011

If an awesome place to buy a car exists, it's Shortline (Hyundai.) I called about a used Tuscon. We went in to see it, and decided it was ""the car."" Dave Britton (our sales person) was knowledgeable, patient, and NOT pushy. He told us all about the car and our options for purchasing without seeming ""sales-y"" at all! He negotiated a great price for us, but the best part is that he was able to get me financed with my sub-par credit all on my own!!! I didn't think this was possible, as my grandfather had co-signed on my last vehicle purchase. They did NOT make me feel bad about my bad credit, they made me feel proud that I could do this on my own! I can't tell you how awesome that felt after being treated badly by other dealers! They gave me exactly what Kelly Blue Book online said the trade in value of my car was in their first offer without any fighting over it, and got my payment exactly where I needed it to be on the new car (I saved $50/month over my last car!) When a few issues came up, they fixed them right away. There was a giant rock chip in the windshield that I didn't notice on the test drive, and Shortline replaced the whole windshield instead of just filling it!!! I honestly can't say enough of Dave Britton, Marquiest (sp) Thomas and Lisa Sutton in finance, and Shortline in general. If you want a new reliable car at a good price/payment, and you don't want to deal with the average sleazy car dealership experience, go to Shortline and ask for Dave Britton...I bet you'll be happy too!!! more

Shortline Hyundai Buyer's Experience 10/26/2011

I went into Shortline Hyundai two days ago and came out with a new Tuscon Limited. My experience from start to finish was beyond great. The two salespersons responsible for this awesome were Chris Carrera and Trevor Roginson. Trevor was my first contact just days before when I walked in and he gave me pertinent information to start off with. I took it home and it just so happened that Chris became my ultimate salesperson. The two of these very nice young men work very well together and are utmost professionals. There was absolutely no pressure put on me by either one. The price I ended up paying was what I expected and could do. Chris's efforts to meet my satisfaction after each request during the closing were accomplished with ease. Before I drove away in my new vehicle, I was given a comprehensive overview of the inside workings. I was also given a tour of the dealership and met each consultant for future contact. I would highly recommend Chris and Trevor to anyone in the market for buying a vehicle. more

I HATE SHORTLINE AUTOMOTIVE 10/18/2011

I HATE MY HYUNDAI SONATA HYBRID. WORST DECISION I HAVE EVER MADE. I recently bought a Hyundai Sonata Hybrid from Shortline Hyundai in Aurora, CO. I have taken the car back at least 6 times. The car was advertised as delivering up to 35 mpg in town driving and 45 highway mpg. The most I have gotten is 24.7 mpg in town. Prior to owning this car, I had a TOYOTA Hybrid that consistently delivered 30+ mpg in town driving. I used regular gas as recommended and never concerned my self with where I bought the gas. I HAVE BEEN TOLD BY NON HYBRID USERS THAT THEY GET BETTER MILEAGE THAN I DO. more

Wouldn't it be nice to go out and buy a car without dreading the process of having to deal with car salesmen? Well, Scott Paschall at Shortline KIA is the person to call the next time you need a car. NO high pressure sales....he worked hard to find exactly the car I wanted at exactly the price I was willing to pay!
