If you’re new to the Fresno area, or looking for a new place to grocery shop, I recommend shopping at Save Mart Supermarket on West and Herndon. I have lived in Fresno, CA for 22 years, in various locations. Of my favorite places to shop, I prefer Save Mart. Unlike the commercial supermarkets, Save Mart makes a great attempt to please customers. The upside to shopping at Save Mart is their quick service. I never have to wait in line for a long time. The food I have purchased is always fresh, mainly because most of the agriculture is locally grown and the products stay fresh that way.
The supermarket features both a bakery and deli with fresh sandwiches and goodies.
If you don’t live near the West/Herndon area, Save Mart is also located conveniently in other Fresno locations.
