Worst

The Dr. is completely rude and unprofessional!! Cares only about money and not animals! I was not notified of my animals test results as the results had "fallen through the cracks...

San Joaquin Veterinary Hosp is awful 11/2/2009

The Dr. is completely rude and unprofessional!! Cares only about money and not animals! I was not notified of my animals test results as the results had "fallen through the cracks." When I came in the next week the first thing out of his mouth was "Is THE cat still alive?" Who says that!? His name is on the clipboard! Finally told me he would do nothing else and would transfer my paperwork elsewhere. By far the worst service I've EVER experienced! more

San Joaquin Vet Hospital is the BEST vet in the entire city... 8/1/2008

My dog loves San Joaquin Vet! She gets excited when we turn onto Allen Rd because she knows that she gets to see her friends. This is extremely comforting to know that she must receive excellent care when I am not in the back area with her, since she is so excited to see them. Dr. Willis is an excellent vet and the staff are understanding and comforting when the need arises. I thank them for all that they contribute to our community. Pros: Gets me in to see the vet in a pinch Cons: although they get me into the room very fast most of the time, at times it can get hectic more

By Far The BEST VETS in Bakersfield 3/5/2008

My yellow lab cut open his chest over a year ago on a busy holiday weekend. San Joaquin Veterinary Hospital was the only place open. We could not have had better luck! They took care of him right away and he had a quick recovery. I would recommend them to anyone!! more

Willis and his wife Linda. Their 20 year commitment to providing quality medicine and grooming to both companion and livestock animals has grown San Joaquin Veterinary Hospital into a place where state of the art and compassionate medical care are provided. According to Dr. Willis, "We treat each client as an individual and realize that along with that dedication to individuality comes the commitment of quality time with which we provide to each patient. Our clients entrust part of their family to our care. That trust means a lot to us and we take it very seriously." Our clients often relay to staff members that our office has a different feeling than other hospitals. We provide a more "personal" approach to the medical care we provide and our clients take note of such care.
