Salon Yaya Greenhills

Keri-Lyn, from Salon Ya Ya, is the best colorist I've ever encountered. I have been going to Salon Ya Ya off Blair and 21st in Hillsboro Village for almost 3 years now faithfully, and I have never had a close to bad experience. The staff are always friendly, team players, and professional. My hair was so damaged and in need of desperate help, and Keri-Lyn came to my rescue. I had dyed my hair black from a box, and chopped it off mid neck- and Keri-Lyn carefully and professionally brought me to where I am now- long Jennifer Aniston sun-kissed blonde with my natural brown shining through from underneath to bring dimension. It's never been healthier- and never been this light, which I didn't think was possible. I love my hair. more

If I were to grade my haircut, it would get a C+. Not a fail, but just average. I honestly think I could have cut it just as well. I honestly have cut my own hair better before. more

As one of few curly-haired people in the world, it is almost impossible to find a salon that can cut curly hair to where it sits nice and isn't a fro. Then the second step is styling it once curly. It never works out, so I usually just have the stylists just straighten it. I ran into my friend the other day who had just gotten her hair dyed this awesome red color. She told me that Danielle from Salon Yaya had done the color and also said that her rates were totally great to match. She gave me a referral card that gave me $20 off $50 or more, so I called Danielle to schedule an appointment. She got me in the same day and was very sweet and welcoming upon my arrival. She talked to me about my hair and what I wanted and things that she needed to know about my hair. She was very interested in making sure that I got exactly what I wanted with my haircut. It felt like I was at a spa, relaxing and getting beautified, not going through a drive thru snip and clip where they're just trying to get as clients in and out as possible in a given day. She wanted to make sure I was comfortable at all times. She really listened to my requests for my cut and did a great job styling it, even taking extra steps to curling iron the extra peices that didn't curl as well on their own. I also got a free deep conditioning treatment (with scalp massage) and the haircut was only $23 (for a limited time). That's the best value for my money that I've received in a long time. And her color is only $33!!! That's crazy. I'm not sure how much longer she will have these rates, so you might go sooner rather than later. I would definitely recommend Danielle at Salon Yaya.
