From the minute I walked in I was welcomed with a smile. The dogs there all seemed happy and comfortable. I was a bit nervous at first bc my dog (terrier/schnowzer) is a little jumpy but he left there with his tail wagging and as happy as can be. I was extremely pleased with the job done @ Rogers Bark. I love Rogers Bark! I ended up taking my anti-social cat for a bath, and they loved her and treated her like royalty. She managed to behave well for them, and I will trust any and all of my current and future pets with this place. I have been taking my dog sadie there for quiet sometime. they do an unbelievable job. i have never left disappointed. They cut her right and trim her right. I have no complaints for Rogers Bark. I would highly recommend them to anyone. they have amazing customer service and accept any kind of dog or cat. they are super sweet. Pros: Everything more

When my dog got sprayed by a skunk and I couldn't even let him in the house, this was the only place that would take him that same day. In fact, after calling around and getting any number of reluctant agreements to treat him LATER IN THE WEEK (what was I supposed to do in the meantime?), the response I got at Rogers Bark was ""Skunk spray? Awesome! Bring him in right away."" The staff did a great job for a more than reasonable fee (compared to the other places I had called). I have since taken my other dog there for other services. They are fast, inexpensive and always dispense service with a smile. My experiences there remind me of the friendly, high quality service one could expect from many small neighborhood businesses years ago. Check it out. I have lived in the Rogers Park area for 2 years and have gone to 5-6 different groomers in the area and to be honest they All did not impress me. Rogers Bark is Clean, Smells good, and the woman that owns it really loves dogs. I felt very comfortable leaving my elderly dog with her. She could deal with his special needs and did it with a smile. My Tyler passed away recently and I now have a new dog and I am very happy that I have someplace that I can bring my Astaire and be very comfoprtable and happy to do so. she is great with dogs, extra staff on Saturdays and open during the week until 5pm. We are pleased with being able to pick up dog food and treats w/o going to the market. Prices are very reasonable and a very clean shop. Pros: Clean salon; friendly and very competitive pricing; great leashes and collars. Cons: None to speak of more

The owner is fantastic, she takes time to ask you how YOU want your dog to look, she is down to earth and her prices are great. She also carries cat and dog food, toys too...so it's one-stop shopping for us. When she says the dogs will be ready at a certain time she means it. Pros: Close to home and affordable more
