when i played here during this past summer(august of 2005) the course was in horrible condition and it played terrible. first of all there is no rough and what was supposed to be rough, was just a tall as the fairways. there was not a patch of green in sight and all the "rough", fairways, and greens were totally yellow. the course is not long at all, and it actually seemed to play shorter than sligo creek which is known as the shortest course around. there were no challenging shots and no water to play over, at least on the front nine which was what i played. i absolutely d this course. more

Trees, Traps, No Trimmings 8/15/2005

Without a driving range or large practice green, this public golf course doesn't have the added amenities of its East Potomac Park cousin, but does present a less-crowded, more challenging alternative to that course's wide open fairways and flat terrain. With narrower fairways, many more more trees, and frequent uphill and downhill blind shots, this course provides a laid back attitude for the golfer (or group) looking for a more difficult set of 18. Shorts, sneakers, and golf shirts are standard. more
