In the beginning of the construction process I was lured in by promises\r and smiles. Now that we are five months into the construction (many\r other comparable homes have gone up in 2-3 months) I have a very good\r idea of what this company is not about. It is not about integrity. It is\r not about customer service, or forthcoming. Not only have I been lied to\r on almost a daily basis, but I now have to find means outside of my job\r to pay for expenses that could have been avoided with simple truth. I\r would not recommend Rochford to anyone I know. The lead man on the job\r site has done the majority of the lying and foot dragging, for no\r apparent reason. Sub-contractors have also confided in me that they are\r aware of this issue and I am not the first one to experience it.\r Horrible business.\r more

In my opinion, I would not recommend Rochford Construction for any new home building. Nor would I purchase one that I knew had been built by them. We had our new house built by them. Unknowingly, we were walking into a money pit. Our neighborhood is full of various issues - each house has them. They will not fix any of these issues and instead ignore requests for assistance or warranty claims. Use great caution in employing Rochford Construction or purchasing a house built by them. more

I was lied to continually and treated rudely throughout the construction of my home by the person in charge of construction, the owner of the company and his son. They were also over four months late in completing my home and I was informed by some of the subcontrators in confidence that the reason for this was because they were told to delay their work on my home for no other reason than that certain people in charge just liked to aggravate people. .
