Didn't update my first review . . . things changed a bit last year. The first time Ringo came it was wonderful, reasonable, and we looked forward to using him again. We used him another time and, though he didn't come when scheduled, he did come the following week and did an ok job. We then signed up with him for monthly service . . . he never showed up again. After a three months of not showing up, we called him and he said that, since he had no one else in our neighborhood, it wasn't worth it to do our house. I was a little upset, since he agreed to do a job and never called to say he couldn't do it. He decided to come by for one more cleanup, since we needed it done, and charged us the equivalent of 3 months, since it was a bigger job. They did a basic weed-wack/rake thing, didn't really clean it all up, and left. If they had done that quality of work the first time, we would not have used him again. The thing is, he does great work and I don't like un-recommending someone who I really like. (As I mentioned in my initial rave review, Ringo was one of the reasons I joined Judy's; I wanted to recommend him.) If he comes, and wants to be there, he's reasonably priced and does great work. If you need something done with a timeline, though, I'm not sure you can trust that it'll be done to your satisfaction and, if he really doesn't want to be there, then you really don't want to be using him anyway. And now we're back to looking for a reasonably priced monthly service to do some basic mowing and raking. more

Ringo has been doing our lawn for over a year now and we couldn't be happier. Recently, we asked him to level our ridiculously lumpy backyard and we came home one afternoon to find it done and completely weeded. He went beyond our expectations...as usual. We are going to completely re-do the backyard this summer and can't think of anyone we'd trust more to do it than Ringo. Ringo rocks! more

I want you to know that I am aware of the recent reviews and comments about my customer service. I have contacted the reviewers and apologized for not getting back to them in a timely manner. I truly understand and value people's time, and I feel badly that I disappointed customers to the point that they felt they needed to write a negative review. At the time that this happened, my son was ill and I just couldn't keep up with the calls. I feel badly if I wasted anyone's time and I truly regret the loss of people's business. I really try to work my hardest for my customers. It is important to me that my customers trust me and know that I am the kind of person who cares. more

We are new to Seattle and hired Ringo because the previous tenants used his services. We called early March and he said he would get it done by March 16 at the latest. Possibly earlier that week, but definitely by that Friday. But that Friday came and went and our lawn was still neglected. So we called him that next Monday and he said, "Yeah, I didn't have time and I don't know when I can now because of the rain." When we're given a date, we expect it to be honored. And if it can't, we expect him to call us and let us know beforehand. We found him to be unreliable and unprofessional. He doesn't seem to appreciate our business. And he probably won't have time for yours either. more

song you'll be singing when you have Mr.Reing of Ringo's landscaping and Garden come out and do a general cleanup of your yard. My poor yard was badly in need of some serious mulching and weeding and after he spend half of a saturday morning on my front yard, the beds looked so tidy it didn't even look like the same yard! I am going to have him come back and do the side and the back. He's not cheap but in this case you DO get what you pay for. Wish I had found him before - last year i spent a bundle on landscaping and maintenance and I could have done a better job myself. Thanks Mr. Reing! more

We hired Mr. Reing based on reviews here at Judy's. It was the best decision we've made in a long time :) He met with us so we could show him the area and describe what we'd like done. At the end we received an estimate and since it was reasonable we booked a time for him to come out. He and his associate showed up on time and worked hard from beginning to end! What had started out as a totally ugly yard with weeds, totally overgrown shrubs and trees, 3 pallets of old mismatched landscaping stone was transformed to a neat and clean garden! Let me emphasize that it was he and 1 other worker and they were done in an afternoon! We are more than thrilled! Mr. Reing also leveled off some unstable stepping stones (just something he saw needed to be done). I can't recommend him enough! We'll definitely be contacting him for further work. more

We're joining Judy's Book just so we can recommend Mr. Reing. He was reasonably priced, incredibly thorough, and very fast. We've already recommended him to friends and neighbors and he's so affordable that we plan on using him again on a regular basis. Mowing, weeding, cleanup, pruning...years and years of neglected growth was cleaned up in a day! Ringo Landscaping is the reason you came here to get a referral...he's that good. more

I hired Ringo Landscaping and Gardening to do mowing and edging, weeding, spraying and to lay bark. He said he could come do the job but not until about a week and a half later. We were totally amazed and delighted when he called me on Saturday - 4 days before the arranged date - and said he drove by the house and noticed that the grass was too long so he decided to do the work that day! His team did an amazing job on the yard and we are so pleased with the work. I have been doing the yard work since we bought our house 3 years ago and the flower beds and edging has never looked better. I would recommend them to anyone for their outstanding service and through work. more

I called Ringo to do our lawn based on Connie's post/recommendation and we honestly couldn't be happier. He is exactly as she described. He's dependable and incredibly hard-working. At first, we hired him to clean up our yard and make it look respectable again. After we saw his work ethic and attention to detail, we hired him for the regular up-keep. He's awesome. Our neighbors witnessed him doing the first landscaping clean up and I got unsolicited comments from them about how hard he works and about what a great job he did. He's the kind of person who makes you wish you could clone him for the other things you need some trustworthy help with in your life - like a dependable contractor, painter, what-have-you. I have no reservations about recommending him - quite a gem. more

i recently hired ringo to care for my lawn, after an illness left me unable to do it myself. he mowed, trimmed, edged, and weeded my front, side, and back yards, most of which are on a steep incline. he did an AWESOME job, and i'm not exaggerating when i say that i hope he will care for my lawn for the rest of my natural life. he's reliable, his prices are inexpensive, and he's a friendly guy. i love supporting small businesses, and hope ringo's hard work continues to win him new customers. more

We recently hired Ringo to mow our medium-size lawn, including edging and sidewalk lawn care, every two weeks. We've been very impressed with his speed, great work, excellent clean-up, good prices, and reliability. I believe he offers several other garden services (pruning, weeding, etc) as well. Not sure if works S. Seattle, but worth a call. more
