I lived at The Reserve At Woodwind Lakes for over 3 years. The NEW carpet that was placed in my apartment before I moved in was the cheapest I had ever seen. And I've lived in apartments for over 20 years. The NEW carpet had so many carpert fiber balls that it clogged my vacume cleaner., And thats after I picked up the fiber balls. It continued making balls over three later and stained very easly. Every time I signed a new lease the apts. clean the carpet and the stains would come up but within a few months stains again. Oh but they wanted to charge me $50 to clean it. Which noone else has EVER done that. RAWWL keep money from my deposite for the carpet that was cheap and not good to start with. I spent 3 days cleaning that apt. so I could get my deposite back. They say inside that was the only thing wrong. I think living there over 3 years I have well paid for the CHEAP CARPET. In addition I was given 2 gate openers that came with the apt. Two issued in my lease. The gate openers stpped workin two years ago and I took them in. They tried to fix them but they never worked again. RAWWL then tried to make me pay a $75 deposite to get new ones. I wouldn't pay for new ones and one day ONE of them started working. Turning them in when I moved they ar keep $75 from my deposite. Charging me to replace a gate opener that hasn't worked in over two years and they wouldn't fix it or give me a new one with out charging me. These apartments just look for anything to keep from your deposite so they don't have to give it back. I feel totally cheated and regret living at The Reserve At Woodwind Lakes for as long as I did. I have good friends with not good credit that maked into the apts. one week after I did. They paid $700 deposte and The Reserve keep it saying they had messed up the carpet. Which is the same carpet i had. If you move here expect to loose your deposte. And if they want a additional deposte I recommend not moving here. THEY WILL KEEP YOUR DEPOSITE .Oh and have ALWAYS gotten my deposite back in any other apts. I've lived in. This place is a rip off.
