I reserved a small car online, but when we showed up, all they had for the amount we'd already paid online was a gas-guzzling Impala. Disinterested employee said if I wanted an Accord, which was one of the cars shown as available at our price point online, we'd have to pay more. That disinterested employee admitted she wasn’t honoring our resevation beacause she thought she could get more for the car from another customer. more

Rent a Wreck, Falls Church, VA 11/10/2011

The small Nissian I got was a good car. The "check engine" light was on, but the car rode great. I only used it for short distances (11 miles each way) for 4 days. The car was pretty dirty, but nothing I couldn't stand for a few days. For what it is, a wreck, the car was fine.\r \r Would recommend this company if you have short distances to go and you are staying around town. more

I have been renting with them for about a month and a half now and they have been so awesome.They are willing to work with you and they are very nice people.i would highly recommend them especially for people who are looking to pay with cash instead of credit,they also work with under 25 which is very hard to find in a rental place these days. more

Excelent SERVICE 10/5/2010

I've been renting a car from this location more than a month now. I love it. The car is old but in good condition, if I have any problems I just give them a call and they all the time ready to help. The service is very good. The lady who works there is very nice and professional. I'm very happy with a car and I'm going to keep renting. more

Beware! 8/21/2010

Horrible horrible do not rent from this place! Ok.....I made reservations for the 2003 Galant; they were kind enough to pick me up from the metro in the Galant. When they pulled up I was thinking please dont let that be my car! The car was awful; dirty inside and out and made an awful noise when turning corners. The guy driving even said " this sounds like its about to break down!". Needless to say I switched cars to the gold Nissan Maxima. Yes, the Nissan was also dirty inside and out. The first day the car drove fine but the second morning it took two tries to start and made and awful noise each time I tried to start. This persisted all day to the point where I left the car running when I went places because I was scared it wasent going to start. I should of returned it pronto because when grocery shopping it broke down!!! So there I was stuck in the parking lot with $150 worth of food in 90 degree weather. NEVER rent a car from this company. I made a big mistake. The car was a completely junk-not safe at all. The car stopped few times on the road, and one time all most lost control had a accident on the high way. more

Rent-A-Wreck 1/31/2009

I have been to Rent-A-Wreck and had a good experience. The people working there are nice, honest and efficient. In fact every time i want to rent the only place that comes to my mind is Rent-A-Wreck. Their prices are fair and they have a good stock of cars for affordable prices. more

Zero Stars 11/11/2008

Do NOT rent a car from these people. I made that mistake and they ripped me off big time. I had to take the car back three times because they kept giving me junk that wasn't safe to drive. Finally I asked for a refund and they gave me back about 25% of what I had paid. I'd wanted the car for a month, had them a week (minus trips to the place of course). Bad dudes. more
