Red Robin is a new chain restaurant for my area, so this afternoon, some friends and I gave it a go. My two friends had Red Robin's "gourmet burgers" and I had the fish and chips (in this case, the twist on the dish was salmon). We had the spinach-artichoke dip for a starter. The appetizer was very good; the dip came with toast points, tortilla chips, and celery. I liked the salmon, but the burgers (their featured dish) were nothing beyond the usual and not cheap either. Other signature items include non-alcoholic limeades and berry drinks. We had good service, and the restaurant's atmosphere is casual, but modern. There is a nice bar area and plenty of parking. Wait staff tried to accommodate in every way. I would go back again, but maybe the restaurant needs to think about choosing a new signature dish?
