I've bought quartersawn oak from R&R on several occasions for use in our 1911 Arts & Crafts home. They bend over backwards to get you what you want. They handpick their lumber from suppliers to get the very best, and then let you go through their stock and select just what you want. They offer a wide selection of wood and will cut, plane, and prep the wood just the way you need it. The quartersawn oak has beautiful rays and flecks in it and puts the big box stores to shame.
