Overview
Visitors can immerse themselves in the history of 19 Pueblo clans through museum artifacts like jewelry, textiles and art. The clans' oral history and culture are played out in a 260-seat theater with films, drama and dance. Changing exhibits display the work of local Pueblo artists; historic and photographic collections provide a modern look at America's oldest culture.
The Experience
The traditional dances held on the weekends are a huge draw as performers provide a rare glimpse into Pueblo traditions. Additional dances are scheduled as festivals and events are celebrated throughout the year. If you're really lucky, you might even catch an impromptu performance. The center's cafe offers authentic Pueblo cuisine. Breakfast and lunch are served every day with items like fry bread, posole and enchiladas offered.
