Powers Liquor Mart

I live in Denver, so I have my hands pick on great liquor stores. However, having to visit with family in the Springs for Thanksgiving, I was forced to shop in unfamiliar territory. I stopped into a few before choosing Powers Liquor Mart. Clean, organized, and friendly customer service. The store was busy, but the lines moved fast. Thanks to Rich, the GM, for being present with your staff, and offering a hello and thank you, to each guest passing by. An extra bonus are the great prices. A Thanksgiving Day ad in the Gazette had an great price listed in it. Suspecting a misprint I first called the store to double check. The lady who answered confirmed the ""price was correct"" in spite of my suggestion it was not. Upon arriving at the store there was no disclaimer posted and the ad was on every register - uncorrected. When the clerk rang up my purchase the regular price posted. The manaager said that it was a misprint and there was nothing they could do. Beware of this store - they had knowledge of the error yet did not post a notice, did not correct the posted ads in the store & did not inform me when I called to check. Wow, I am hard to impress, but the store is a classy one. Both management and staff are there to spoil their customers. The beautiful wine room is a great bonus, and a fun place to spend a Saturday afternoon. The store is clean, organized, and consistent. Thanks!
