SAW A BILLBOARD ADVERTISEMENT AND DECIDED TO GIVE IT A TRY. WENT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE AFTERNOON. I ORDERED THE RIB PLATE AND POTATO SALAD. THE RIBS WERE BIG AND MEATY. THEY FELL OFF THE BONE AND WERE SOME OF THE BEST I HAVE EVER HAD. NEXT TO MINE. THEY HAD SUCH A GOOD FLAVOR AND THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF SMOKE. THE POTATO SALAD WAS GOOD. VERY SIMPLE RECIPE. JUST LIKE MAMA MADE. JUST A LITTLE BETTER. THE OWNER IS VERY FRIENDLY AS IS THE WHOLE STAFF. HE EVEN LET ME TOUR HIS SMOKER. IT IS AWESOME. THIS IS DEFINITELY WORTH THE VISIT. After living in the area for many years and passing Pierson & Co every single day, I decided just today to actually stop in and give it a try. The three meat dinner is great and offers much variety, however there could be a little more meat on it. The beans are to die for and the peach cobbler is equally as good. I have been eating at Pierson's for about 6 months and am on a first name basis with them. They are very friendly and pass out samples. I haven't tried everything on the menu, yet, but eventually I will. I have not been disappointed in anything I have had. The brisket, ribs, sausage, smoked chicken and turkey, beans and desserts are all excellent. I even had them smoke a turkey for me before Thanksgiving, but I am waiting for Christmas to eat it. I know it will be delicious. I always have the sauce on the side because the flavor of the meat is so good on its own. And the peach cobbler - well, I am not a big sweet eater, but every time I go I get an order of that cobbler. Now that I have tried the bread pudding, I will have to get that, too more

FInally went to Pierson & Co today and man i tell you what. I should have went when i first heard of it. THe BBQ is awsome. The pork Ribs, Links and Brisket is Great!!! If you are a BBQ fan, you need to go to Pierson & CO. Next time i will also try the cobbler. I got a sample and boy it was tasty. Just too full from all the Beefy Goodness !!! Pierson & Co. is a new place with an old sense of southern goodness. The BBq is some of best you'll find. The owner has spent a lot of time perfecting his BBq and now we can all enjoy the fruit of his labor. If you're in the mood for some good BBq you'll definitely want to give this place a chance. more
