Terrible experience! 6/7/2012

Petco will no longer receive our business because of this store. The customer service is terrible. I have been a Petco shopper for 6 years now and have never been treated so poorly by an assistant manager of a store. I was quoted a price for grooming and when asked if I wanted the extra spa package I said no. Well apparently they selected yes in their system so when the receipt printed out it listed the seasonal spa package. Of course I'm trusting that since I said I didn't want the extra things they took me seriously so I didn't check the receipt as I signed two seconds after I told them "no." Imagine my surprise when my husband comes home with the dog and says "I thought you were quoted $46 for the basic groom- why did this cost $70?" \r When I called I spoke with their assistant manager who told me several times that I signed te receipt and there was absolutely nothin they could do because it was my fault. He eventually said he would refund me $10 to "meet me halfway" as if he was do more

very good 9/24/2007

I know this is a pet store, but I think it should be kept cleaner. I do love the store though because it is where we got two of our cats from. They are such great cats and I'm sure we'll be back. more

Good place for your pets! 11/5/2005

This is an awesome pet supply store that's located in a strategic area between highway 6 and williams trace. They occasionally have dogs/ cats for adoption and if I don't already have a dog and a cat I'd adopt some more. They're all real cute. The store's also set up well with products listed category by category and in case you can't find something there's always kind volunteers or store managers that will be willing to help you out! more

Where the pets go 7/8/2005

I adopted my cat from this Petco store, and both the volunteers with that adoption organization, as well as the others who work at the store, were all very pleasant and helpful. We do not venture down this way much, but whenever we do I must stop in and see what they have, as they often have some great deals on various items. This is an excellent pet & pet supply store. more

Products are sparse, but the grooming is great 6/5/2005

I would have to say that Petco is a good store. Petco has good products but it doesn't have as much selection storewide as Petsmart does. Petco has good prices and deals. The Petco P.A.L.S program is worth participating in. The program is free and it will allow you to recieve discounts on products. However, what really makes Petco great is the grooming. They do not overcharge like a lot of pet stores and clinics. The grooming staff is very nice and great with pets. Plus, they get the job done quick without sacrificing a quality grooming. Every single time I bring my dog there, I am always surprised at how great they do on her. There are a couple of times in which they even put cute little bows in her hair. They also have a frequent grooming program, in which you get the tenth grooming absolutely at no cost to you. So Petco is a good store. Not something I would recommend over Petsmart. But if yu want a great grooming for your pet, then this is definitely the place to go. PROS: Great more
