This place needs a club card for returning guests. We haven't had our two dogs anywhere else but are considering somewhere else due to the expense and lack of appreciation.

Kitty spoiler--He loves it! 7/25/2009

Most cats really have a hard time when they have to adjust temporarily to staying in a different environment. The staff at Pet Resort here are so loving and take the time to play with and care for your cat. Every time, mine comes back home relaxed, non-traumatized and happy. Much happier than when I leave him with a pet sitter to check in on him twice a day in his own home--he just isn't left lonely at all in PR. A great investment. Doesn't get any better. Pros: Great care for all pets Cons: None more

Highly recommended 7/10/2009

We have used this pet Resort quite a bit. We tried a few other kennels around town and there are some nice ones, but they are $$$$$. Our pups always come out smelling good and happy. We have also used them with some rescue dogs. One that we have in there now was very scared and stinky. We had them bath him and I have to say, in the two weeks he's been in there, he has turned around completely. He smells good, he seems happy and he is getting along with other dogs VERY well. He used to snap at all male dogs. Now he plays well with all dogs. Anyway, if you try them, I think you'll like what you see. Pros: Great staff and rates Cons: can't think of any cons right now more

Great place to leave your dogs 7/9/2009

We have left our dogs there for several years now. This was the longest we have ever left them. They really seem to enjoy the place. I know our yellow lab loves playing with other dogs so he must get really worn out with the "play time" they offer. They both smelled fresh and clean when we picked them up. They had the bath and nail trim. The staff was very friendly and caring when they brought them out to us when we picked them up to go home. We will go back!! Pros: clean, friendly, knowledgeable and caring staff more

Home away from home 5/10/2009

Our girl is always happy when I drive up there with her. I know and do not worry about her. She is 12 now and I can tell if she has not had a good experience. She would show it in a very special way to me. I thank Pet resorts for taking such good care of her when we need them. Sandy Laws Mom Pros: Knowing our baby is being taking care of Cons: Really don't have any more

Great Pet Facility 5/8/2009

I recently boarded my elderly (22 yrs. old) dog and had a great experience with Pet Resorts. Due to her fragile condition, she requires special attention, and the staff was exceptional with her. We kept in contact frequently which eased my concerns. It was obvious they were genuinely interested and involved with my pet. The facility is impressive; very animal friendly. I only have positive accolades for the staff and facility. Pros: Very caring and concerned for pets more

Basically, I dropped my 13 year old dog, Scout, off on a thursday evening; picked her up on Monday at noon, rushed her to the vet and had to put her down 3 hours later. Pros: con: don't always use the food you send Cons: Can't take care of elderly, won't call if pet is sick more

Basically, I dropped my 13 year old dog, Scout, off on a thursday evening; picked her up on Monday at noon, rushed her to the vet and had to put her down 3 hours later. When I picked her up, she was barely breathing, couldn't walk and unresponsive. Pet resorts didn't even give me a phone call when they admittedly noticed her acting strange and unable to walk the night before I picked her up. My dog was not blind, or deaf, or sick or unable to walk when I dropped her off as they state in their response to a review another person posted, as this is not the first time this has happened. She was doing well for a 13 year old dog and in good spirits! I wrote a review of my experience and what happened, but it was too many characters to fit on here. I feel it is important for other pet owners to understand the condition my dog was in when I picked her up; and more importantly how I was never notified of her being sick. PLEASE, before you take your best friend to Pet Resort's of America, read my story at: augedoggie.wordpress DOT com Pros: con: don't always use the food you send Cons: Can't take care of elderly, won't call if pet is sick more

i wouldn't go anywhere else 4/17/2009

I feel very comfortable leaving my dog and cat here. It is so much better than leaving them at the vet's kennels. The staff is kind, knowledgeable, and obviously petlovers. The dog wags her tail when we pull in and the cat doesn't go psycho - in that cat-like way. There's plenty of room and times for doggies to play and a cat "playroom" too. Pros: reasonable fees; great staff more

We leave our dog here when we go out of town and we never think twice about it! They take such good care of Brewer and he is always happy to stay there. We also take him here to get groomed. The groomer here is really great and also priced really good! I would recommend Pet Resorts to anyone! Pros: They really care about your pet and tend to their needs more

My dog loves this place 4/3/2009

I have used this both as a kennel and as a groomer. Everytime I drive up to the door, my dog gets excited and happily goes right in, so I know she has had a good experience there. I never worry about her when I leave her, and that means so much. Pros: Friendly people, go the extra mile service. more

A home away from home 4/3/2009

I had never boarded my two dogs before. I just couldn't find any place that I felt comfortable leaving them. Every where else the cages looked so small. But at Pet Resorts of America the double cage with indoor and outdoor area looked big enough for my two (one medium sized and one large sized) dogs to be comfortable. I have boarded with Pet Resorts three times now. Pros: Large cages with indoor/outdoor access Cons: A little pricey more

Friendly, Reliable and Affordable 4/3/2009

The staff at Pet Resorts of America are very friendly. They obviously love pets and it shows. We have been using their services for a year now and my dogs love to go. Their grooming department is wonderful too!! Duncan and Riley each give them 4 paws up!! Pros: Exceptional Staff, My dogs hate to come home. more
