I never really expect a multitude of honesty when it comes to car dealerships, but these folks, as Burton1 says, were just plain sleazy. I have, indeed, informed them of their sleaziness.
When they realized they weren't going to swindle me into buying some piece of junk on their lot after I refused their laughably over-bloated pricing offer on a brand new car, they quickly shooed me out the door while attempting to degrade me to the other customers with an even more sleazy and loud innuendo.
I was reminded so much of the used car salesman in the movie ""True Lies"" that I actually wondered if the whole thing was not part of some goofy attempt at making a cheesy commercial.
It became apparent that these people had no interest in selling brand new cars and only wanted to push out used ones. When they realized I was a lot more informed and stubborn and therefore would not be an easy swindle, they pushed me away.
I'm glad I decided to make my next car purchase after many months of searching around and testing various dealerships to see which ones are professionals who want to make a solid, mature sale of a car to someone, and which ones are just good old examples of exactly the kind of thing that just about everyone hates.
Unfortunately, Dave Solon Kia falls into the latter category.
