Everyone is completely wrong about Pam! I've been going to her for 10+ years! She ALWAYS does AMAZING hair!!!! I will not let anyone else touch my hair. Anytime I want to try something different Pam always tells me if it would look good or not when most hair dressers would just do as your asked, but man has she saved me from some regretful hair cuts! My fiancé has lived here for 2 years and could find NO ONE in this area that could cut his hair. Everyone always messed it up, and one day I took him to Pam. Now he won't let anyone else touch his hair. She does amazing work. And not just that everytime I walk out of there I'm in the best mood. She always keeps me laughing and gives good advice. She's more then just a hair dresser! Ps I have NEVER heard her talking bad about others. And for the ones saying she discriminates that is a load of CRAP!!!! I have heard her talking about African Americans and nothing negative has ever come out of her mouth. more

My family and I have been getting our hair done by Pam for the past 15+ years, we have never encountered a better hair stylist anywhere else. Pam's passion for her work and kind heart are truly inspiring. The environment at the Hair Rock is friendly and inviting. My family and I tell people about her and her tremendous work all the time! Being a professional hairdresser myself I enjoy the challenges of the everyday at the Hair Rock. I have worked in the industry for 4 years and I would not work anywhere else! Pam brings fourth the drive and determination that most people lack and yes she isn't afraid to speak her mind in any situation. My entire family and I were clients here at the Hair Rock before I began working here. I have been an employee here for over five years now and I have come to call this place my second home. Day after day I watch countless clients come into the salon not only for a fabulous hair style but for thought provoking conversation that leaves them feeling rejuvenated, lifted, and inspired. \r As for the comments left by the previous person, the fighting on the phone that day was with our landlord who was trying to raise our rent during a recession. Anyone leaving with tears would be tears of joy for how happy they are with their hair. \r Pamela has a gift for doing hair. And she has a special relationship with each client that comes in here and she values each one. I have always loved my hair and I would never go anywhere else. I had a very bad situation at Pammies Hair !!! I knew before i went that this place was trouble but I went anyway. As I sat in the chair Pammie would wave at clients out the window and be bashing them inside to all of the clients inside!!!! I was shocked about this! She was laughing about hurting people and I heard her screaming and swearing on the phone about some messed up personal situation!!!! The fight on the phone was very wicked and she was threatening to beat up the person on the other end!! What was happening here??? Then at other appointments she would talk about God God God!! ??? She was so rude and mean to her staff that a a woman cried and ran out the door!! I would never ever ever ever recommend this place!!! I would pay my neighbor to shave my head befor I ever made a visit back here!! stay away people. This lady will talk about every person in the whole town behind their back!!!!!!!!!!! Well, I have been going to Pammie since I was in the 8th grade and I am now a Junior in college. Ever since becoming a client at Pammie's Hair Rock, you couldn't pay me to let anyone else touch my long, thick, beautiful hair. Pammie has a true talent that most of us aren't blessed with. Myself, I cannot do hair at all, nor do I ever really attempt. I leave it all to Pammie! Watching Pammie's work is amazing because it all comes so natural to her. If you pay close attention to her actions while shes working and the look on her face, you will see pure determination to make every style perfect just to fit the customers wish. You are supposed to do what you love and if Pammie loves doing hair, fellow clients should appreciate what she does for them. Pammie not only has a gift with hair, but she has a gift with people. She can not only be your hair-dresser, she can be your friend. I love Pammie and so does my mom. I have never, ever left with a complaint nor an insult. I always receive compliments. If you don't like Pammie, good-luck finding someone else as talented, beautiful, and determined as her, because you won't. u must try the rock hair salon,you will be amazed at the god given talent of pamela....noone in the area can compare...she has a beautiful ,very clean salon, she has a wonderful staff , that gives the best massages while washing your hair...and the cut and color you will recieve truely is hair rock.....i would never have anyone else touch my hair...my daughter feels the same way...she will be moving out of state, and will travel back just for pam's services..your hair is your everyday wardrobe...noone will style you like pam...worth every penny she charges....pam is lovely and very talented at what she does and takes great pride in her work, that is what i want from my hairdresser, if you have dreamed of being a hollywood star.....call today...in a few weeks you will at least look like one.... I was doing a search online for a business in Imperial and came across this review board for Pammie's Hair Rock Cafe. I read all the review's - including Pam's posting and I thought I'd give my experience for all. Religion has nothing to do with how customers are treated. You can love God and still make others feel uncomfortable. In fact religion has no place in a hair salon. I've always felt religion very personal - I did not go to Hair Rock looking for guidance or therapy - I heard she did fabulous hair and I wanted to try it out. I scheduled ahead of time with Pam, but Pam did not do my hair. I asked for her but did not get her. I had an event so settled for a very young girl who I did not know. My hair turned out, well, just OK yet I believe I still paid for Pam's experience (close to $100 for a cut/color including tip) but had a much younger, inexperienced stylist take care of me. Nobody was mean to me, but I must say I was uncomfortable. I was not made to feel welcome. Nobody offered me a coffee or a cocktail. There was a lot of personal issues openly and loudly being discussed...a lot of typical salon gossip. I know that Pam knows who I am from the area and mutual friends and she never even greeted me. I also noticed the swearing, etc. but that did not really disturb me although I could see how it would others. I was disappointed only because I really really heard such wonderful things and I strongly feel I could have received the same service and hair care just about, well, anywhere. That was a few years back, and sadly, I chose not to return. I felt really judged there. I was bummed too because it's advertised to be a really cool place. Obviously Pam has devoted people supporting her business as it is strong regardless. Pros: The salon is gorgeous and roomy. Cons: I was extremely uncomfortable and could not wait to leave. more

So I first heard about Pam's Salon when my best friend was getting married. All of the girls in the wedding headed down to the salon for a wedding-morning party to get our hair done. Pam's staff was completely ready for us. I've been in 8 weddings and this was by far the most efficient process ever. All 6 bridesmaids and the bride had stunning hair-dos. It was fun and I was definitely convinced that if I ever need my hair done for any formal occasion, I would go to Pam.\r In December, I decided to try going to Pam to have my regular cut and highlights. It was a FANTASTIC experience. All of the ladies from the salon remembered my name and greeted me with warm welcomes. I sort of let Pam have free reign over my hair---I just wanted it lighter and sexier. I swear---when I was finished I was in tears of joy. It was the most stunning color and healthy looking cut---like something on a celebrity. I have gotten so many compliments on my hair. Even my guy friends keep saying ""Wow! Did you do something different to your hair? It looks really nice!"" Pam not only gave me an amazing makeover to my hair, but my self-esteem has been boosted so much.\r The experience at the salon is fun, laid-back, and welcoming. Amy, one of the other girls there, gives the most amazing scalp massages when she washes your hair. It is very relaxing! The other thing I admire about Pam is that she is really smart. She's a savvy business woman so if I was ever looking to start my own business, I would definitely consult her. Her prices are reasonable---to tell you the truth, I'd probably pay her twice the amount she charges for the great job she does. And, on a personal note, Pam is a God-fearing kind-hearted friend and mentor too. She's had a lot of experience in life and I really value the stories and lessons she shares. \r I will never go to another salon again. Trust me---it's worth it! Pros: Everything! I am shocked that ANYONE would find something negative to say. I'm a very sarcastic person, so I understand that some people take everything seriously. I laugh the whole time I'm there and although I've only gone twice, I feel like I've known Pam forever! I get more comments on my hair than I ever have and I love it! I have naturally curly hair and she knows exactly what to do with it and they styles are up-to-date. Each time I've gone, she's had one person after another and they all seem to love her (and she them). I recommend her to EVERYONE and I tell them to expect the best! I am not a judgemental woman and I believe we should all be created equal. I experienced a very sad situation while at Hair Rock. I was shocked and appalled at the remarks stated by Pam (I think that is her name...the blonde, very large woman). She used the ""N"" word repeatedly and was giving another customer a hard time for having an African American friend. She was vulgar, harsh, and unprofessional. She and another stylist actually got into an argument over Pam's remarks to the customer. I never felt so uncomfortable and akward. I walked out of the salon never to go back. Hello everyone, I have returned I am back from LOA due to illness. Lets not be haters jealousy comes in all forms . Pammie is a true colorist . You want to look amazing ,feel unique with color , and be amazed with a razor you need to come to Imperial the closest thing to New York or Hollywood is right here and only 15 minutes on the Parkway from the city. I always say u get what you pay for and here, we gaurentee service from the moment you walk inn down to the most amazing relaxing scalp massage. Need alittle therapy that free!! We love a good debate or story. Do you really want to get a hair cut where you by your bread ?? Product teaching and styling technigues, you name it we have it and as one of Pammies assistants, as her Friend, i assure you , you will not go away with anything less then perfection. We gloat because we are that amazing !! If your looking for eyelash extensions ladies come in and see me Extreme Lash is here at the Cafe' We are setting appointments now through december .We may shot from the hip, and God is always in our house but thats just how we like it !!!! ok, this is pamela brosovic and obviously you havent been to my salon...i do believe that you are a disgruntal employee...everyone knows that i LOVE THE LORD and they come to me not to just get amazing hair, but to also get their souls fed..if you are mad about my price then i suggest that you try cost cutters or great clips...they are only 5 dollars..i am a certified colorist and i am actually underpriced for my knowledge...as far as children i have about 200 child guests that would beg to differ from what you said.. they ALL love miss pammie, and i love them...if my salon was so bad then why does it take 2 yo 3 weeks to get an appointment with me... listen, GOD is so good to me that i am going to diligently pray for the person who wrote this...i know who you are..oh yeah, its easy to find out who writes these...ok also, about the review under the other pam name..that was my client and she used my computer at work, so not being very tech savvy, as she would say about her self, she didnt change the name to hers.. all i know is i LOVE TO DO HAIR I DO IT FOR THE GLORY OF MY SAVIOR AND I THINK THE SUCCESS OF MY BUSINESS PROVES HE HAPPY WITH ME...the proof is always in the numbers.......may GOD keep you and shine his face upon you, may hive grant you the peace he has granted me...i will pray for you and i know and trust GOD will turn your hate around...people are just getting by in this world..alll the negative.. lets all try to look at other people and find their postive..remember GOD IS LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! U r wrong ,i was a client there and got my girlfriend a job there and i regret it .its obvious by u stating it was a disgruntled employee because u know how u treated her .My girlfriend was called fat and other abusive names during her 6 month stint there She is in a very nice salon now and is no longer as assistant. and hair has nothing to do do with this ,its the owners negative fake attitude and how two faced she is about clients paying to get there hair done and then talked about before there check is run thru.. i never worked there and, and my girlfriend ran out of there because of the abuse u did to her Thur Ur negative actions and May u practice what u preach with the Lords word!!!!Last year she was very depressed working in a negative place like that .Please go get ur hair done where the owner is respectful and at peace with themselves!!!!! more

I've been going to Pam for over 14years. I would follow her anywhere as long as she was the one doing my hair. Her salon is awesome and fun. The girls shampoo your hair and give you the most relaxing head and neck massage that's the best cure for the most stressful day. Pammie gives you the best haircut that you'll get nonstop compliments about. Pammie is funny, beautiful and knows her stuff. She makes you feel like a pampered celeb when you go there. OMG!!!!!!!!!! i cant wait to go back.....Pam takes care of your hair and your soul......... i feel like i should owe her money for a therapy session too!!!! she is alot less expensive than any therapist!!!! ok, so you walk in and its so beautiful and fun and everyone is helping you get comfortable and they get you coffee tea or even a cocktail of your choice!!!!!!!!!!! everything is topshelve at this salon. i am sooooooooooooo glad that my friend recommended Pam for color....she really loves making people feel great about themselves...she is truly being wasted in imperial, but i am sure glad she is there! pammie bosses her employees around, swears constently, and has an attitude problem. she usually has 3 customers at a time and has the shampoo girls style your hair. she is lazy and only does the bare minimum that she needs to do. the salon is cluttered and dusy and everything is way overpriced for the quality of the service. i would say it is not worth the time and money. This is true! everyone leaves looking like a star.. i too am a hairdresser and i would only allow pammie to do my color..........she is truly gifted...it is so much fun.. its like the movie beauty shop!! everyone is always having fun!!!! she is worth the drive worth the money and she is soooo busy that you have to call at least 2 weeks ahead of time to get an appointment....she is worth the wait.... excellent at updo's... i go in to watch her work on certain days...this girl should be in hollywood!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we all think she deserves her own tv show...lol... its a blast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
