My experience with Pace Art Conservation has been excellent. Larry Pace is the only museum trained painting conservator in Hawaii. He came to HI to run the Painting Conservation Department (now defunct) at the Bishop Museum. Be aware that most people who call themselves ""painting conservators"" are not true conservators, but artists, whose skills are limited to revarnishing and painting over damaged areas.
