Best breakfast in the USA. 6/2/2008

When it comes to the best this place has it all from waffles to pancakes to omelettes or just a great glass of orange juice this place has it all. All food is made from scratch and definitely tastes that way. I would recommend this breakfast house to anyone! Pros: Great all around!!! Cons: Sometime there is a line, but I've come to except it for the great food. more

Best Breakfast! 8/9/2007

The Original Pancake House is excellent! I have been there many times and each time I've had a very enjoyable experience. I personally like the blueberry pancakes or the dutch baby. For chocolate lovers I suggest the chocolate PACKED chocolate chip pancakes but there is a wide variety to choose from. And for those non-pancake lovers they also have many other breakfast plates. Once you eat here you will be hooked! Come hungry! Pros: Excellent food, clean, friendly service Cons: none more

Best Breakfast in Vegas 8/7/2007

This is my first review, however not my first trip to Original Pancake House. I love this place! The tropical pancakes are one of my favorites and they have the very best bacon. Never had to wait too long, but its worth it. There is another location on Decatur and Charleston. I think there is also one on Sunset, too. Yummy! Pros: Great food. Never too long of a wait. Regular diner ambience. Cons: Watching other people getting food and waiting for yours to come. more

  • In Short
Founded in Oregon circa 1953, this simply-furnished spot owes its success to its creative menu and fresh ingredients. Batters are made on the premises; a special "sourdough starter" keeps treats from tasting overly sweet. Patrons choose from eggs, waffles, crepes and oven-baked omelets, as well as signature plates like blueberry pancakes (served with or without compote), giant cinnamon-glazed apple pancakes, thin and chewy "49-ers" and the air-filled, lemon-and-sugar-topped "Dutch Baby."
