Best vets around 10/8/2011

My mother and I both have been taking our dogs to Oasis Animal Clinic and seeing Dr. Hackett for many years. They are able to get you an appointment very quickly, even that day if there's a late emergency (which trust me, I have had!). The early to late hours are especially helpful for someone such as myself who is also in healthcare. The staff is very friendly, caring and knowledgeable. I would recommend Oasis Animal Clinic to anyone! more

loved staff, disappointed in doctor 4/26/2011

HI, I came to Oasis Vet for the first appointment with my new puppy. I don't have any complaints re the office staff. Genessa came into exam room and gave me lots of into and explained things and then I asked her Are you the doctor?? She said no, she was the nurse. She spent about 20 minutes with me and was knowledgable and friendly, explained things well and I was impressed with her. Then the dr came in, nodded at me, didn't introduce himself...He did a quick general exam, told me my dog had deu claws and at some point I may want to have them removed......then proceeded to give him a shot and after he gave the shot he left room. I then asked the nurse,,,,,is he coming back? And she said no. This perplexed me as he was so brief, didn't even ask me if I had any questions,,,,,certainly didn't say much about my new pup etc. I left there realizing he has the nurse do all the work and he comes in for 5 minutes,,,,,if that. Wonderful place! 1/19/2011

We have been going to Oasis Animal Clinic for 6 years now and have been 100% satisfied. We tried 2 different vet offices prior to finding Oasis. Dr. Tenney and his staff have been very caring and compassionate. He always takes the time to explain things in detail and we always feel confident and comfortable after each visit. Finding a vet that you trust 100% is tough to do. But we found one! Thank you Dr. Tenney and staff! more

Caring and trustworthy 12/27/2010

We have been going to Oasis Animal Clinic for 6 years now and are so happy to have found them. Dr. Tenney is one of the most caring professionals I have ever met. He always takes the time to explain things so that they are well understood. Everyone here treats you with respect and compassion. We have never had an issue with getting an appointment at a time that is convenient for us. I highly recommend Oasis Animal Clinic. more

Very Satisfied 3/22/2010

I've been a client of Oasis Animal Clinic since 1994 bringing 5 of my dogs over the years there for treatment. I'm very satisfied and would recommend Dr Tenney and his staff to anyone. I've received very compassionate care for all of my pets. more

Not for me. 10/14/2009

I was referred to this clinic and one vet in particular from a dog trainer. Even though I specifically requested one Dr., every time I went in for an appointment it was with someone else. And none of the staff ever remembered us from one appointment to the next. I felt like a number. I know this clinic is very busy due to it being located right next to the Pet store, but I found them lacking in customer service. more

Simply the Best! 7/21/2008

The majority of Oasis Animal Clinic's staff (to include vets, vet techs, the office manager, and even the receptionists) has been working there for several years, and that, by itself, says something in this age of "do more with less" and the resulting job carousel. This means that the people at Oasis have gotten a chance to really get to know our pets (we now have seven, not including the goldfish) and their history. They remember me when I call and know my pets by sight. Although they are often busy, they always take the time necessary to ensure that my pets get the best of treatment. They know the best pet sitters, dog groomers, and also have an employee who specializes in long distance pet transportation. Caring is one thing. Having the expertise and experience to really know how to take care of a customer is what puts Oasis Animal Clinic over the top. more

The money pit. 7/19/2008

I wouldn't take my animals here again if the were the last hospital on earth. They misdiagnosed my cat and it ended up she had cancer. She suffered needlessly because of this. I also had a bad experience with one of my dogs that I took in for have trimmed under anestetic. I shopped around for the best price and was quoted a price and went with them. I booked the appointment weeks in advance and even called a week before the procedure to make sure that the price they had originally quoted was still good and in my file. When i went to pick my dog up the price had changed from the original $135.00 to over $600.00. The original price had magically disapeared from my file. One of the vets came out and said they had to do a bunch of other procedures. I advised I had never authorized these,. She was absolutely one of the rudest people I have ever met. \r \r DON'T GO HERE UNLESS YOU HAVE A BIG LIMIT ON YOUR CREDIT CARD AND WANT SUBSTANDARD CARE FOR YOUR COMPANIONS. Cons: EVERYTHING more

Since 1982, we have been serving the Chandler, Mesa, Gilbert and Tempe residents with compassionate veterinary care for treasured members of our families: our pets. Many of you continue as loyal clients after all of these years. Many others are new to the area and have recently joined our Oasis family. Our mission is to provide care: - in the most compassionate manner possible - with the most convenient hours and location - in the most competent and complete manner possible.
