Northwest Women's Health Care

I know you requested a female ob/gyn but I just had to recommend Dr. Robert Levine. He delivered my last baby and saw to my prenatal care beforehand. He was kind, caring, truthful and wonderful throughout the pregnancy and c-section. Basically I recommend him to everyone who asks. I will also add that I've seen many dr's at this clinic and I would recommend any one of them. One of the other ob/gyn's is Dr. Levine's wife (who also helped deliver my little one). more

All three of our kids were delivered by Tracy and her partners. Connie trained with her at the UW (one of the top three OB/GYN programs in the country, which is amazing given all the high quality programs out there). Tracy is great. She specializes in high risk OB. I'll never forget her look of concern as our first child went through the most incredible late decels (for the novice, this means that after a contraction, if the heart rate slows, the baby is in distress). Nevertheless, Alex pulled through fine (big brained kid!) and our experience with Tracy was terrific. Final aside, is that she's a great person to boot. So, if you are in high risk (in OB, by the way, that means over 35 years old), you might really want to consider Tracy. more

I just had my second child and I saw my OB today. She is fabulous. Dr. Karen Bohmke. I have recommended her to other friends who have loved her as well. The practice is large so there are other docs if you prefer a different temperment but I feel that Dr. Bohmke is the perfect combination of practical, direct, personal and caring. I had some major complications on my first birth and another Doctor in the practice delivered me and I loved him too! Dr. Heath Miller. Overall, a great place to create a long-term relationship with your doctor. A few of the doctors (including Bohmke) are annually listed on Seattle MAgazine's best doctors in seattle list. After 2 disappointing OB experiences for my first pregnancy, I was anxious to follow a friend's recommendation and visit Dr. Johannsen for my second. I couldn't be more pleased with her and all of the staff at Northwest Women's Healthcare. They are extremely attentive, thorough,warm, friendly, knowledgable, and down-to-earth. You may have to wait for your appointments, but this is only because they do not rush their patients. more
